- Sightseer453380886533 contributionsBeing here, you want to get lost in the view of this place. It's a dreamy place. The blueness of the water makes one feel in a supernatural place. When you came here you felt like you were in heaven.Written September 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A fabulous place to kayak in. The water is crystal clear and there are amazing rock formations.Written November 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I do suggest going there very early to reach the sunrise when you reach the top. My experience was quite different for I started late at 9am. Do bring lots of water or Gatorade for you will need it. I was provided with a helmet and gloves but found them to be cumbersome but for most people this might be necessary for the rock face have jagged edges and are quite sharp. Do climb the unofficial route for the adventure.Written May 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We survived the extreme heat, no wifi, no power, very basic toilets, and the lack of fresh water on the islands. We were definitely disconnected from our everyday routines and comforts but we were met with stunning views, beautiful blue waters and snorkeling sites, locally sourced and super fresh food (we were served buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner! With sweetened bananas and potatoes as snacks in between.), fascinating camps (tuka!), friendly adventurers from all over the world, and the exceptionally professional and accommodating Lost Boys (the Tao boat crew) who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time ever. It was Filipino hospitality to the highest level!💯 Not only did we have an expedition leader, captains and boat crew, we also had a couple of amazing chefs and a barman on board!
The team was led by Demy, with Mac, Piopio, Marvin, Dan, Blogger?, Roger and more! Sorry can't remember all the names 😬
It was definitely a one of a kind and unforgettable experience. It's a must when in Palawan or the Philippines. ❤️Written August 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our boat crew, kuya Regi, Richard, Alex and Marlon were great and very attentive. They even knew spots that were less crowded so we truly enjoyed our time and had a private get away. We enjoyed it so much that we did another Private Boat Tour B before our flight back to Manila and Kuya Regi and Richard took us to a Private Island that has unbelievable views. We highly recommend booking and request Princess Nicole 1 Boat Crew!Written November 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joel C5 contributionsI was super nervous leading up to the first dive… after completing all the e-learning, a lot of things were on my mind about how it would go.
On Day 1, we (partner and I) met Abel who would be our instructor for the two days. Abel was so calm and chill, most of my worries disappeared. We jumped on the boat and set out for the first dive - the “confined water dive” which was not confined at all as we were in the ocean, just closer to the shore (2m deep). Before we jumped in, Abel ran us through every task that we would be completing underwater and all the things required for setup etc. When underwater, he demonstrated each task well before getting us to do it - also, when I didn’t understand something it was very comfortable asking him to repeat.
Over the 6 dives, we typically spent the first 15-20 minutes completing the tasks required and then the rest of the time (≈ 25mjn each) exploring. In these dives we saw turtles, octopi, crabs, stonefish, and lots more. It was amazing. Basically, if you’re going to get your open water padi, you might as well get it somewhere that you also get to enjoy the dives. And if you can, ask for Abel - he was the best instructor we could have hoped for as complete first timers.
We were also lucky enough to have Anto from Fisheye Underwater Photography on our boat, who got some stellar pics for honestly a bargain. (He also sends the basic/watermarked pics first so you know what you’re paying for).
Some other general things - facilities on board the ship were great with free tea, coffee and water, as well as plenty of bananas which were needed. You get a proper meal for lunch that you order the day before - plenty of great options and the food was real good.
tldr: Submariner is amazing, Abel is the best. Do your course or dives here.Written March 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KarichelAnchorageAlaska42 contributions1st class operation all the way! We walked into the shop and spoke with Matteo. We asked about doing the tunnel dive site and he said the weather conditions were too rough but he would keep us advised if it got better. He communicated via What's app for 3 days until they could line the dive trip up.
We dove with Joel and went out on their speedboat to 3 sites. The captain and mate were very helpful setting up gear and entering and exiting the water. They served a big beautiful lunch and had coffee, tea, and water available. Finally they kept our gear to rinse and dry at the shop.
I will definitely dive with them again. There are many options in El Nido for dive trips, but I think we ended up on the safest boat with the safest crew.Written November 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WriterchickieLos Angeles, CA185 contributionsI had the best experience with El Nido Yacht Club even as I’m not sure it can be replicated. But if you find yourself in this situation, this is what you do:
They tell you straight up that they need a minimum of six people signed up for a tour (this one was the Whole Day Premium Catamaran Group Tour.) We were five, but when asked, we all agreed to split the cost of the sixth ticket in order for the tour to not be canceled. The result was an amazing day as we had this huge yacht to ourselves.
There is plenty of shade on the boat (one of the reasons I picked it) and also a not-scary bathroom on board (another reason I picked it). and plenty of spaces to spread out. They don’t have alcohol on board, but I believe you can bring it with you. Even if not, there are guys with boats and coolers at the island hopping stops that you can buy beer and rum in coconuts from.
Our tour guide was Mhamar, and he was the best. Super personable, helped me as the solo person take cool pics of myself, and also took group shots. Wear your swim shoes in the water at the island hopping spots, there are sharp rocks.
Communication via email is great. It’s a higher price tag than most other tours, but also most definitely worth it.Written October 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
