Friendly and fair staff with good bikes - no attempt at ‘added costs’ at the end like some other outfits. - Miguel C1 contributionMost expensive yet worse tour we did in El Nido. The destinations were great, such nice beaches but it would’ve been a much better option renting a motorbike and going on our own. 80% or the time we were on paved roads and going extra slow. Everybody was passing us, even on dirt roads where ATVs are supposed to handle a lot better. On top of that, we had to stop at least 10 times because somebody’s ATV died or had some type of issue.
Both of my front tires had absolutely no thread left and one of my read tires had a nail in it that kept losing air from the time we left and had to stop at tire shops to air up. My girlfriends’ ATV’s exhaust was smoking like a chimney the entire trip and lost all power 3 times which made her not be able to keep up with the group, even though we were going so slow.
At the beginning of the tour we were told that the tour guide and the mechanic would be coming along which we thought was a little off but it all made sense after we started breaking so much.
The trip included lunch...again, the WORSE included meal we’ve had from any arranged tour, period. We each got a soggy egg sandwich with tomatoes and cucumbers in it plus some fruit and warm soda.
I am pretty sure the only reason this company is still in business is because they have little to no reviews and yet tour companies still offer the trip. The owners Judith and Tani are so welcoming and their staff is incredible. Food is delicious and healthy, cooked from local ingredients.
Kiteboard equipment is great and the beach is right out front so it is easy to hop in and out depending on the wind conditions.
Perfect spot to either learn to kite (Donald is a great instructor) or rent equipment and play.

- jeroenDen Bosch, The Netherlands40 contributionsThere were about 45 boats (> 1100 pax) leaving in the morning for tour A, and they all did the exact same route.
The tour itselve was OK, It would be a better idea to tours leave on different times, e.g. 7:30 - 8:30 and 9:30 and allow a maximum number of (for example) 800 people per day.
- We had to wait for an hour before we left because Jemzy tours had forgotten to pick up 2 passengers that had booked and they were waiting to be picked up in their hotel...
- Passengers did get limited information about do's and don'ts on this trip, the crew did not seem to care about the invironment.
- 2 passengers collected corals from the beach, and Ryan, the guide was aware of this. Only after I told him I wanted him to tell the passengers they could not take coral, he informed them. They were surprised that they were not allowed to take corals but did throw the corals in the water again.
- At secret lagoon we had to wait for 25 minutes to climb to a hole in the rocks and to see a small enclosed lagoon. Not sure wat is special about it
- At the second last stop (maybe it was named small lagoon, we were able to go snorkeling again. For some reason 6 Philipino tourist were standing on the coral. They were obviously ingnorant of the fact that standing on coral will damage it. Staff again did't say anything about it.
- Some staff of other boats were feeding the fish which is not very sustainable…
- It surprises me that the staff is not there to make people aware and to protect nature.
- I wonder were the 150 pesos for the environmental fee is spend on. Clearly not on trash cans (there was garbage everywhere) and clearly not on education and enforcement of laws.
Maybe putting up big warning signs and giving fines would help.. the staff of the boats do not care at all.
Currently there are plans to close down El Nido for 3 months because of the water polution. The road is nice and not long but the place worth all the efforts! It is very beautiful and looks like an unspoilt paradise. We had to wait more than 2h30 hours to be taken care of and then had a very unpleasant exchange with the manager who did not care about our opinion. In addition, the boats are very poorly maintained.
