What travelers are saying
- PWH50Crawley, UK357 contributionsThe sand is pristine and the colours wonderful of the sea and lush green foliage of the coconut trees. However, on our visit the red flags were out and so one was allowed only to paddle basically to stay safe. A pity, I’m not sure how frequently bathing is restricted and how to check this out on line.
You normally get here by trike which is fine but the road is partially a track only so be warned you’ll be in for a bumpy ride.Written 30 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa C10 contributionsIt's like a big swimming pool! A bit difficult to get in but it's so worth it! I am glad that there are people there who are monitoring the number of people inside the lagoon to avoid overcrowding and because of this you can't stay as long as you want,Written 13 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carlo A69 contributionsPristine, beautiful, clean, serene... exotic birds residing here, monitor lizards roaming about.. all the pampering provided by El Nido resorts, snack, refreshments, fruits, even booze with happy hour rates... perfect indeedWritten 23 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - benandvien95 contributionsTuck away in all the nooks and crannies of these little islands. You need an expert to find these unless you have your own boat to cruise around. There's just one monolithic limestone creating this beauty. Our guide took us to the left of this limestone and went through an opening where the beach was. Not many people were there when we arrived, but we were in awe that this place existed. Nice place to have lunch or relax for a few before the next group comes in. Amazing photo ops here and there's a little secret. There is one soft coral that houses two clown fish! We were lucky enough to see them and enjoy their company for a bit. I'm sure they didn't really welcomed us, but we made ourselves at home hehe. There was a territorial damsel near them that was really shooing us away. He attacked my ankle. It didn't hurt, but when you get attacked by anything underwater, it sure gives you the spooks!Written 11 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassie TMelbourne, Australia233 contributionsOur favourite beach in El Nido but we only did Nacpan Beach & Small Lagoon while we were here and have to come back and do a bigger day trip by boat one day of all the other options.Written 26 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Seth G3 contributionsThis review is for the Sunset at Las Cabanas - at the very end of the strip.
They had a perfect view of the sunset settling by the mountain islands (or rock mountains I am not quite sure) and the sea. It was a perfect place to have some quiet dinner date or relaxed hang out with your friends. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our visit so we didn’t get to take a photo of the actual sunset.
For the service, I have no complains. They are very attentive, very friendly, and very quick. They even offered taking our picture by the beach since they noticed that my partner and I are struggling to take good selfies.
For the food, it was pretty decent. We ordered (i forgot the official name but here is the closest i can compare it with) lechon kawali with mexican rice and patatas bravas. For the drinks - beer (corona) and mango shake. I wouldn’t say it was top quality but it’s not bad as well.
Will definitely come back for a great overall experience!Written 15 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Be wary of expectation vs reality issues. Be wary of itchy feels post swimming since planktons and jelly fishes are within your path. Before , entry entails that you are a guest of the exclusive beach resorts like Lagen and Miniloc. Now it is open season for literally everyone.,Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Darren BReading, UK31 contributionsThe drive up to the beach could be a challenge for anyone inexperienced on a scooter. That being said anyone with experience will love the off-road track !
The beach is simply stunning.
It’s untouched beauty with little to no development.

There are nic-nic (sand fly) notices posted, but noone within our group, whether protected or un-protected, were bitten after relaxing and walking around. The restaurant and spa selection is great, and there are also ATM's available. Most, if not all, edtablishments take GCash as well. The beach is a lovely place to relax and doesn't seem to ever be too crowded. There are also free shuttles that go here from the better hotels in the area.Written 15 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
