- Fazal Mahmud RoniDhaka City, Bangladesh802 contributionsJust 10/12 mins away in Tricycle from El Nido beach. One of the best sunset experience of my life.
After the driver drops you in front of the beach plaza…..just walk through for 5 mins to the beach. Once you reach there walk to the right side of the beach and go to extreme corner to view the spectacular sunset.
The beach and water is clean, so you can swim too. Number of beach side cafe and hotels are also available. After the sunset, you can chill any of those.
Must Visit for Sunset.Written October 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are a couple vendors selling drinks and snacks and not much else. Seems like every boat in El Nido makes a stop here so don’t expect solitude. Hike to the top for great vistas, and walk on the sandbar to the mainland if the tides are favorable. Fun.Written February 15, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

but as is with all things in SE Asia, lack of regulations mean it's unlikely to stay pristine and be sustainable over timeWritten December 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Beautiful sands and clear waters, and the water temperature is always just right. Definitely worth the trek from the city. It was even fun to watch all the boats going back and forth to underground river.Written June 22, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great spot for surfing and not too crowded lot of locals . Bit hard to get to with tricycle so it feels more remoteWritten January 8, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I walked all the way down and spent some time under the palm trees and in the clear, aqua sea. Felt like I was on Survivor, no one around. Then, I rented a lounge at the beach club. It only cost 500php and that amount went toward any food or drinks (which I had both). What I thought would be an 1-2 hour visit turned into a full day of perfection.Written April 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Osama J22 contributionsThis walkway area is a nice place to be when it is hustling and bustling. There is plenty of great eats, a family environment, and a nice place to take a walk along the shore. There are tricycles available for transport. Highly recommend it. Only criticism is that the place to generally be kept cleaner.Written January 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kevin SPontypridd, UK7,179 contributionsAbout 1km of dark sand with pebbles and blues and green sea lined with hotels and bars, quite a number undergoing renovations, and dozens of moored outrigger boats. A decent beach for a walk but not a dreamy white sand beach but it does have some local character and is far better than the beach at El Nido town. For the stunning beaches head offshore on one of the many island hopping trips or travel 40 minutes north by tricycle, shuttle bus or rented motorbike to Nacpan or Duli.Written February 15, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia9,012 contributionsIncluded as part of our shore excursion, interesting but not an exciting attraction. Our guide explained that it is one of a number of “prison without bars” established by the United State in 1904. Inmates are required to tend tracts of farmland instead of languishing in cells. Not many guards in evidence, the few inmates spotted in the fields carrying out their duties in a languid manner. When we all disembarked the buses, the music began, inmates on a variety of instruments and accompanied by energetic dancers. A covered area showcased various handicrafts produced by the inmates in their spare time. Nice Rizah monument nearby. It is the largest prison of its type in the country, the entry gate controlled by one guard who gave us a cursory glance and waved the bus through with a smile.Written December 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - irenevffDasmarinas City, Philippines5,960 contributionsi used to frequent this place of worship when i was still stationed in the province more than a couple of decades ago. this Church was my go-to place when i needed some peace and quiet during my younger years as a doctor.
this Cathedral's architecture is a traditional neo-gothic design with two belfries sandwiching the main entrance. impressive and sturdy, this Church lies at the western end of the city's main thoroughfare.
no wonder this is included in the day tour package of Puerto Princesa.Written December 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are quite a lot of tourists, but then again there are services and cozy domes by the sea. You should check the place and form your own opinion. The sun shines here and you will surely find your place on the beach sand!Written November 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia9,012 contributionsVisited Puerto Princesa in 2023 and on this occasion headed to Robinsons Place Mall. As only the supermarket was operating at the early hour (8.50am) we headed to Jollibee for a morning coffee and waited until the department store and mall outlets began trading. Robinsons is always an interesting store in various countries, and we rarely leave empty handed. Another carrier bag filled with goodies, ladies' cosmetics and merchandise thoroughly examined. Enough browsing and shopping and we headed to Bo coffee to await our driver. Compliments to the staff in Robinsons for their assistance and patience in the various sections. Christmas decor and the Christmas Tree were features of the mall.Written December 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
