- marplalatinoFlorida112 contributionsI participated yesterday in tour C. Roldán, the captain and the entire crew were very professional and made us all feel well taken care of. Roldán was with us in every activity. The ship is much larger and comfortable than other tour ships. There is a limit of 18 guests so one can really enjoy the space.
The food was incredible and they kept giving us drink and food all day long. Great quality ingredients, well prepared.
The places we visited were one better than the next one.
Highly recommend this company. It costs a little more but it is totally worth it.

Overall, Port Barton is a small place and it has its own charm. Our upper for the day was when we were able to view a pawikan up close while snorkeling. - Tim C7 contributionsMy partner, Safran and I booked a private 4 day/3 night island hopping tour with Jhai and ATX travel and tours. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Everything from the hotel pick up, to the drop off went perfectly smooth, we received a detailed itinerary in advance and were kept well informed throughout the whole tour.
Our tour guide, John and crew of our boat “queen sebaring” were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed at JD lodge in Balabac town and they were also great. All the food prepared for us was delicious and they even made special items for my partner who is vegetarian.
Jhai even went the extra mile at the end of the trip and personally drove us the 5 hours back to our hotel in PPS and gave us a parting gift. (this is not the normal, it was just convenient for him at the time)
Balabac is starting to bring in more tourists because of its beauty and social media presence. Get here before all the resorts are built, make sure you book with a credited agency like ATX travel so your tour doesn’t have the chance of being cancelled. The owners Judith and Tani are so welcoming and their staff is incredible. Food is delicious and healthy, cooked from local ingredients.
Kiteboard equipment is great and the beach is right out front so it is easy to hop in and out depending on the wind conditions.
Perfect spot to either learn to kite (Donald is a great instructor) or rent equipment and play.

We started in Bohol, with some sightseeing in the nature (the famous Chocolate hills and Tarsier monkeys) and snorkelling. This was followed by an amazing experience of canyoneering to the Kawasan falls, in Cebu. The final destination was Palawan, with the well known underground river tour and ending with El Nido with the beautiful island tours full of kayaking, snorkelling, swimming and relaxation. - Eddie B115 contributionsThe main hub at where tourist take the pontoon type boats to various beach islands needs major renovation. It's the grand central station of Palawan for day trips.There are no sewage treatment, so the stuff flows out to the waters. During our day trips the bathroom or comfort room on the boat is a outdoor stall that the pipes lead directly to the water. Anyway the boats line up end to end so you will have to cross over to each boat. Not for the elderly or really heavy people. The place does not have a real safeway to cross onto each boat. So just beware. Once on the boats, its smooth sailing depending on the skies. 10 to 12 mph speed about hour to get to first beach destination. Beautiful beach areas and snorkeling magnificent. One stopover is the sandbar beach. U Got to go there.
Parts of the water surrounding the sand vary in cool water to almost sauna temps. I stayed in the sauna clear waters;). Travelling from to and from mini islands found garbage floating by. They sell false tours and blame it on other companies when what they promise is not delivered.
Firstly we paid for an early pick up for 8am and to finish the tour at 3pm, we requested no lunch so we could get to see all the destinations we planned with them. We waited for a boat until 9am which put us behind schedule. We went to the 3 out of the 5 locations and were dropped back off at our preferred location at 2.
During the tour I got a call from the manager of the company that Happiness organised, she called saying that we will get dropped back off (this was 11am) when complained this was not what we paid for, they continued on with the tour and still dropped us off early.
When we went back to Happiness that night they called in the manager from the boat/other people they organised us to go through and put us in the middle of their argument of he said she said. NOT professional in any means. The lady gave us 1000 peso of the 10,200 we paid. The lady assured us that this never happens and that they were really sorry and offered another tour we could put the 1000 peso towards. We should have just walked away in hind sight, but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and book an ATV tour for the following day.
The tour was sold as 1hr ATV ride.
We paid for two ATVs, unfortunately my partner got sick and was not able to attend. I went alone and they were unable to refund the other rider which I totally understood.
It takes half an hour to get to ATV, I jumped on the ATV and was guided by the owner on my lap, so it was very slow and couldn’t go in front. I was then dropped back after half an hour instead of an hour. When complained Happiness called the ATV company who said I did the full hour and won’t refund. I left Happiness at 9am, have photo proof of starting the ATV at 9.45am and photo proof of being back and in the van heading back to Happiness at 10:10am. I was then dropped off at Happiness at 10:40am and they said it was not their problem EVEN THOUGH I BOOKED THROUGH THEM.
I RECOMMEND NO ONE TO USE THIS COMPANY! They do not sell what they promise, say that it has never happened before, and don’t compensate if things go wrong!
