What travelers are saying
- David NLondon219 contributionsIt was a 20 minute walk through fields rivers and jungle. It made a good change from beach hopping. Would recommend crocs or similar as feet will get wet and you need some protection from the stones though the guide was fine in flip flops. We didn’t make the 2nd level as it seemed a fairly strenuous and near vertical climb but first level was beautiful and we had a refreshing swim.Written October 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eden NPort Barton, Philippines26 contributionsPerfect place to read a book while listening to the falling water and feel the breeze... We really enjoyed our holidays and hope you guys also visit this place. An hour walking/trek from port Barton town and you can also rent a motorbike in Port Barton.Written February 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yozhmozhi J3 contributionsIt's one of the best waterfalls in Palawan in terms of maintenance. It's a neighbourhood maintained hidden gem. They charge a very nominal fee of 40 peso as entrance fee and they refused to get entrance fee for my kids. The profit from the snacks sold there are all going towards community development. Though the prices are cheap compared to all the other shops in palawan.
We were the only people when we went to the falls. We soaked ourselves in the beauty. They have a well maintained changing room on the way back from the falls. It's one of the must visit places on your trip to palawan.Written December 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. After traveling down a bumpy dirt road for about 15 minutes, you pay 75 pesos to enter the private property. Then it's another 20 minute hike across 5 rivers (water shoes recommended but not necessary - we hopped on rocks with our sneakers just fine) to the falls. You'll be sweaty by the time you arrive but don't fret! The falls are fresh and cool and exactly what you're going to want. There's some cute areas to sit too, so bring lunch! And a functional bathroom.Written February 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We drove with rented motorcycle and took us 1- 0,5 hours to get there. Definitely worth it. We had also a friendly guide. The fees are bit confusing though.
Environmental feel : 150 php.
Foreign tourist entrance fee : 50 php.
Local : 30php
Tourguide fee: 200 ( mandatory bec. tourist cannot enter without a guide)
There are some food and beverages. We ordered pizza and delivered to us with charge of 50 pesos only up to the second falls.
There are aqua shoes you can rent for 100 pesos.
We did this activity on our last day of stay in El Nido and leaving with filling of contentment.Written December 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Willy PEl Nido, Philippines6 contributionsAfter a long drive in the strong sun I arrived at the Salakot falls. The price was 10 php. After perhaps 100 metres easy climbs I got there. I was NOT alone. But the only non-Philippina. I made my self a fool by attending to cross a small passage that was so slipped that I performed a little balance dance about to fall in. All the, perhaps 40 people there, saw me. I ended crawling like a monkey. NOT my best moment.
It's my first falls, so I didn't give 5Written January 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Though you'll have a hard time to walk with a slippery , and rocky road. But that was totally fun guys. So see you again guys. Till next time

There is a sign for the falls a kilometer or so before you reach the town. While in the area don't forget to take the road before the school and drive down to the sea where the pier is located. Here you will see a hundred fishing bangkas in the shallow water, as well as fish farms.Written January 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cheryl PDavao City, Philippines144 contributionsI've been assigned in Brooke"s Point for more than a year and I am trying my best to explore this town. So, I have found Sabsaban Falls, well not so majestic if you compare it to Maria Cristina Falls and not so quite big if you compare to Estrella Falls but you will still like to visit this place and have some time to enjoy one of the beauties of nature.Written March 1, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christian Ã…Halmstad, Sweden28 contributionsWe go here to se this very nice waterfall but maby 10 years a go people stop walking here and the owner dident clean up the road so we had a pretty tuff hacking true jungle and walking up the river we found the Palawan land turtle on the way and it was really cool but a lot of hard hiking and a lot of leaches on our legs. It was a fun experience. So we also decided to put this as one of the tours from our resort #mecajadiveresortWritten January 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
