We booked the underground river tour from Puerto Princessa and transfer to El Nido. Also we did the additional extra (mangrove tour) our tour was great, the underground river was beautiful. Spectacular to see and atmospheric with the bats and swallows flying around. Our guide Echo was excellent. He was very helpful and clear in explaining the schedule for the day. I was apprehensive about our transfer to El Nido as there confusing info about this online. We were dropped of at the small shop and cafe at Salvacion for the transfer, waited for our driver (organised through the same company) Echo had told the driver our name so no stresses there. The driver came found us and took us to El Nido in about 4.5 hrs.

Would have been a 5☆, but there are so many boats doing the exact same trip. There are literally 100's of people doing what you are! Take away that issue, and the trip is great with a lot to do and see

Watching the fireflies from the boat was very nice. However, the overall evening experience was disappointing. The two of us were added to a group of 7 others (9 in total) and we've been brought to a buffet restaurant in the city centre of Puerto Princesa to have dinner. This is not what was advertised and we had not been informed of the change. We regretted we did not go for dinner by ourselves for better value for money and experience. Also, the first place did not have any vegetarian food available (despite the fact that I sent multiple reminders to the organisers) so the group had to move to another location for the vegans and vegetarians of the group to eat. The car ride is a bit long, about 45 min each way for only 35 min on the boat. To conclude, I would advise you to reach the Fireflies place by yourself (worth it! And great to support the conservation of the area) and maybe take the opportunity to discover the North of Puerto Princesa by yourself instead of this group tour which does not add any value to your evening experience.

By far our best tour in Philippines! The boat is gorgeous, the tour visits incredible beaches, but beyond that, the crew is superb! Our biggest thanks to Marco, Paquito, Roberto and all the amazing Team that made our day unforgettable. Really the best.

The crew was great but started late waiting for the coast guard clearance. The stops were enough time to enjoy the location. The tour guide was very helpful and really helped the other passangers who were not strong swimmers. I was travelling by myself and had a great tine

We had a great day out island hopping on the private tour which was the best option IMO. Our tour guide Ryan and his team (Greece & Lawrence) were fantastic and made us feel very welcomed and allowed us to set the tempo for the day. At no point were we hurried along, instead we were allowed to take our time at each location, and we could dictate what time we started the tour at (however go as early as possible as you will have less people to contend with and the sea is calmer).

From the kayaking - snorkelling - tasty cuisine - swimming - beach lounging = money well spent.

    Water shoes are advised!
Thought I could hear ducks at a few locations but didn’t see any so keep the eyes peeled!

This was our first full day in Puerto Princesa and we wanted to get a sense of the city. They arrived early to pick up us. Our tour guide, Banessa (not 100% sure how to spell her name) was awesome, knowledgeable and made the four hours go by seamlessly. She had a great sense of humor and kept us entertained. Nelson, our driver, was a very good driver and navigated the busy streets safely. We loved visiting the local artisans, learning more about some history, and getting to sample ube pastries. I would highly recommend this tour, especially early on in your trip, for anyone who wants to get a better taste of Puerto Princesa and its culture.

My Girlfriend and I decided to do a public tour for once and we were surprised how good the energy was!
Albert & Alden have been so supportive since my girlfriend is not able to swim.
They had good and positive energy and made our day - We highly recommend those 2 guys !

What you have read is true, A and C are the best tours - I did all four of them.

The companies will get you there and feed you. Don’t expect too much more, they are there to get their job done.

I did four tours while I was there, the places you go are amazing but the level of care from the operators seem impacted by their familiarity of the setting - it’s special to you, not to them after the thousandth time!

I booked a 10 day tour that started in Boracay, went to Puerto Princessa, and ended in El Nido.

This was my first time traveling internationally and she made it seamless.

I was contacted before each activity by my tour guide and never felt confused about where I am supposed to be. I got lost once and my tour guide found me.

The price was very affordable and worked with my budget.

She was patient w me and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend her services and next trip I go on I will use her again.

Nice enjoyable trip. Agency contacted me personally the previous night to make sure I know where to meet them, the guide was on time, and everything went smoothly. Special thanks for the great lunch; instead of the usual rice-in-the-box these guys served a table full of meat, chicken, vegetables, shrimps and 2 whole tuna fish (!), + dessert of course. I also liked that our group was small enough (12 people). I strongly suggest you bring/rent water shoes, it helps a lot especially when walking to the boat in the water. You also might want to bring waterproof bag for your stuff, I did not but managed somehow.
