Went here with my partner and kid, and it's a real treat for some wholesome family fun. Make sure you wear clean socks since it entails a lot of walking over painted floors. Comfortable clothing is also advisable so you can do your most outrageous poses. The 3D-like paintings are really amazing and makes for some marvelous shots. These are authentic artworks by modern artists which provides interactive appreciation of paintings. Who says art has to be boring, right?

This georeserve has two trails available, the Instagram famous discovery trail, and the legacy trail which gives you a greater insight on the ongoing conservation process in the reserve. Our group took the legacy trail. We started our hike at 8 am and finished at around 2 pm. The most difficult part for me is the 400 ascending steps.

    Pros:

    1. Awesome tour guide! Our guide/ranger Mary Rose gave as great lectures on how they are planning to go about the restoration of the area. She was also very accommodating and did not rush our group during our hike.

    2. We were provided with ponchos, knitted cotton gloves, and walking sticks.

    3. Very nice trail with regular rest stops and toilets. See pictures since I can't describe it enough to do it justice.

    4. A sufficient lunch is provided for the legacy trail

    5. Affordable at around 1,600 php per head

This place takes some two hours to get (without too much traffic) and at least three hours back in heavy traffic. You have to set out very early if you only have only one day. The fee is 2,500 pesos per person (includes a mediocre lunch and a snack) and a driver would cost 5000 pesos for the whole day.
The forrest is very beautiful and the highlights are mineral springs, including hot springs. A truly wonderful escape from Manila!

This place is superb! Was lucky to visit this place before in the ECQ. We came here January, good thing because we enjoyed the site alone. We are the first to come during that day. Entrance is Php 300 per head and Php 100 for the car 'cuz we actually brought our own service. The road is tight and only one car (sedan) can pass at a time. No worries, there will be a guide at the entrance to control traffic. There's a pub where we enjoy our lunch and got a taste of Baler authentic cuisine.

We took a guide and a jeepney to get here and it was well worth the money as we wouldn't have found the location we ended up in by ourselves. Very beautiful on a clear day.

The place is great when it comes to the pools; though man-made, they give lots of “being one with nature” vibe.
Be warned though that if you are expecting spacious accommodations, you wouldn’t find it here. A room with 2 bunk beds, which in my opinion could only accommodate 1 person per bed, was listed as accommodations for 8 persons.
There’s also the shower heater that doesn’t work. Despite calling the management’s attention regarding the non working heater, nothing was done.
If you do not mind these things considering the affordability and would only care about the nature vibe, then this place will do you well.

If you are looking for place to stay near Metro Manila this is the place to be. Away from the hustle and bustle city life, offers wide variety of recreational activities such as hiking, water rafting, bonfire. For couples I would really recommend to get the Romantic Mountain Retreat package that they offer. It's a complete deal! Aside from the calmness, I love how accommodating everyone is, -the indigenous Dumagat tribe. In-room massage is a must try! We will comeback for sure!

We visit this every 18-24 months when we have a family reunion either for holidays, Holy Week, etc. The grounds are normally kept up a little better than this visit indicated; however, a nasty Cat 4 typhoon passed through this area only a few weeks ago, so maybe some of that is to blame. They added a hike up 300+ steps for a so-called infinity pool, but it was simply a round pool on top of the hill with a nice view. Signage was nonexistent, so we had to guess where to start and where to go once we completed the steps. I would not recommend going there on a rainy day or taking anyone that can’t handle the physical needs of climbing uneven steps with no handrails. Back at the hot springs, it was the normal fun place that keeps us going back. The kids and adults had a blast. We rented a couple of gazebos and BBQ’d some food and had a feast. They did increase the entrance fee this year, but it still only averaged around $4 a person for our group of 48 adults and children.

This is one of my fav island hopping beach because of its pink sand that it is rare to see and its crystal clear water. Our tour guide is very friendly and accommodating that's why we enjoy every second of our escapade.

It offers a lot of areas for photoshoot. From open to tight spaces for wide and close shots. a lot of nature and artistic concepts all over the theme park.

We took the option of 3 days trek (Banaue-Pula-Cambulo Day 1, Cambulo-Batad and waterfalls Day 2, Batad-Banaue Day 3) with Jercy Cabbigat, whom you can find easy on Messenger.

The trek was quite doable, with some slippery places if it have rained, and can be hot sometimes. But, the knowledge, the sens of humor, the caring and helping of Jercy truly beat all that !

We recommend 100%, the views are truly amazing and it’s nice to walk there with someone who can explain and share the daily life of this part of Philippines !

The falls are about two hours drive from Manila. The most interesting point of the tour is the upstream trip of the river. The two boatmen of every canoe try very hard, even with their legs and hands ,to cross the canoe through huge stones and narrow points(they deserve a good tip)The area is spectacular and arriving to the falls you can visit the cave behind them, with a bamboo “boat”.Don’t forget to have spare clothes, because you will get wet and also buy before the departure a waterproof bag for your camera, smartphone and money.

Before you reach this falls you have to walk over 1k steps down going to falls and 1k steps up.

But this falls is worth visiting. best time to visit is after the rainy season until Feb. for you to see the beauty of the water.

Reserve more time if you plan to go there for there are several activities you can do while being there. You can go up the hill to take pictures of the wind mills upclose or perhaps do the stations of the cross. Going down you can ride the horse going to kapurpurawan, a friendly tour guide would love to show u around. Tired of those activities, seat and relax order empanada or buy mini windmill souveneers at the parking area. I had a nice time out there. Definitely going back here

Finally had the chance to visit these falls. We took a guide, and after a hike of approximately 25 minutes we arrived the falls. The water is extremely fresh, and I did not expect it was so cold. Wonderful.
