I only fly Business Class partly due to the fact I am a very large man. I stand 2 meters tall and trying to squeeze into a seat meant for someone no larger than 6 feet tall/ 200 pounds is a nightmare for a 16 hour flight. A visit to the Skyview lounge was included with my last business class ticket on Philippine Airline's A350-900.

The lounge itself is like going to an upscale Manhattan Bar&Grill. It's a buffet where everything inside is free. They have wines, sodas, yogurt, jello and plenty of choices of corporatized food and drink for your tastes and diets. there are vegan choices as well as Kosher/Halal items.

The food itself is bland however. I don't want to be overly critical, but I found the Filipino street food to be richer in taste than the food either in the lounge or even on the plane. All of this food seemed to be catered by the same caterers. The sandwiches, noodles, gourmet breads...it all tasted processed, lacking in "home cooking" and a bit on the dry side.

Fortunately, what the food lacks in flavor, it makes up for in presentation and variety. There's plenty to eat and there's plenty to drink.

The lounger area has plenty of seating options from bar stools to soft couches. When you consider that the plebeians who'd be in the economy section of my flight were cramped together in a boring waiting area given Jollibees for breakfast as a consolation to the previous night's flight from Manila to NYC, I couldn't possibly complain.

The bathrooms are neat and clean and the customer service/reminders for your flights are perfect.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars for being excellent other than the unremarkable food.

I believe there is a fee between $30 and $50 for people who don't have the lounge factored into their flight cost.

Who loves not the MABUHAY LOUNGE in Terminal 2. I was an elite member for a year due to my frequent travels. I usually go early to the airport to rest, eat and enjoy being a mabuhay elite member.

and like many others, I LOVE THEIR LUGAW. Hello MABUHAY MILERS who love the LUGAW like it was the best dish they offer.

Terminal 2 has a lot of good food options from fruits, to drinks, to snacks.

This place can be a savior when you have to wait for your connecting flight at the airport. Few people may find it difficult to locate given its location
