Ok... this is NOT a place you visit for a whole day... maybe 1.... 2 hours max..... but when they have a convention you like? its really enjoyable.... i cant really say much that's generic enough to not pin it to a specific convention i visited... im aware that everyone would have a different thing they would like to attend.... but whatever it is your interested in? if its here? you can expect wide open spaces.... so it would be difficult at best to feel choked by the crowd.... unless the convention you are going to is anime conventions in which case, prepare for super crowds...

The Manila International Auto Show just concluded its vehicle fair activity and exhibit. Signifying the near return to what this place was utilised for prior to the pandemic. Health protocols were very much implemented inside by the inter agency task force but the volume of guests and attendees were overwhelming you can hardly navigate inside by 2 pm onwards.
Good venue. Lots of rest room. AC temperature was adequate considering how huge this place is.

The PICC has maintained it's cleanliness and amenities and the convention halls are still cold and well maintained, so are the toilets.

I only fly Business Class partly due to the fact I am a very large man. I stand 2 meters tall and trying to squeeze into a seat meant for someone no larger than 6 feet tall/ 200 pounds is a nightmare for a 16 hour flight. A visit to the Skyview lounge was included with my last business class ticket on Philippine Airline's A350-900.

The lounge itself is like going to an upscale Manhattan Bar&Grill. It's a buffet where everything inside is free. They have wines, sodas, yogurt, jello and plenty of choices of corporatized food and drink for your tastes and diets. there are vegan choices as well as Kosher/Halal items.

The food itself is bland however. I don't want to be overly critical, but I found the Filipino street food to be richer in taste than the food either in the lounge or even on the plane. All of this food seemed to be catered by the same caterers. The sandwiches, noodles, gourmet breads...it all tasted processed, lacking in "home cooking" and a bit on the dry side.

Fortunately, what the food lacks in flavor, it makes up for in presentation and variety. There's plenty to eat and there's plenty to drink.

The lounger area has plenty of seating options from bar stools to soft couches. When you consider that the plebeians who'd be in the economy section of my flight were cramped together in a boring waiting area given Jollibees for breakfast as a consolation to the previous night's flight from Manila to NYC, I couldn't possibly complain.

The bathrooms are neat and clean and the customer service/reminders for your flights are perfect.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars for being excellent other than the unremarkable food.

I believe there is a fee between $30 and $50 for people who don't have the lounge factored into their flight cost.

Bantayog Library has a very modern decor. Besides books they have modern computers, all the visitors are locals. Republic of Philippines is sovereign island in South East Asia, its capital is Manila, The Islands have a population of 82 million. They have rice fields and valcanoes and the cities have shopping, museums and parks.

Who loves not the MABUHAY LOUNGE in Terminal 2. I was an elite member for a year due to my frequent travels. I usually go early to the airport to rest, eat and enjoy being a mabuhay elite member.

and like many others, I LOVE THEIR LUGAW. Hello MABUHAY MILERS who love the LUGAW like it was the best dish they offer.

Terminal 2 has a lot of good food options from fruits, to drinks, to snacks.

The exhibit is small but enough to give a first time visitor a sense of Catanduanes history and culture. The exhibit guide Mr. Ronnie was very competent in giving informative details of the display items. Afterwards, you get a map of Catanduanes for your reference and the opportunity to have a photo in their Catanduanes booth.
Highly recommended for first timers before visiting other attractions.
