I've been here like a hundred times that it has a special place in my heart. This place is perfect for those who wish to have solitude and also wanted to have good meals. It also perfect for those who like sports for hey have basketball, football, volleyball and other outdoor activities. For those who have been there, they will understand that there is something special about Rizal Rec..

In the end, I didn’t manage to flowboard standing up. I got defeated. Urgh. After getting wiped out, I felt pain on my feet and discovered that I got foot cramps! I guess my feet are really not in the mood today… It was also my fault as I didn’t warm up or anything before going to the flowrider. Lesson learned here.

After the insane flowboarding session, my group and I ordered calamares, chicken fingers, nachos, chicken buffalo wings and carbonara. We were so exhausted from the activities that we just had to fill our tummies to recharge our energies.

Now known as the Philsports Complex. Not a bad sporting complex. Enjoyed my many visits with son to swimming pool

My favorite running or walking spot. The lined-up acacia trees makes the path surely interesting, especially at night when they are properly lit up. The grass is inviting!

Even though it was renovated a few years back it’s still an average sporting stadium compared to what I’m used to. Attended a local football game that had a great atmosphere though. Fun fact: hosted the beatles during their infamous phillipines tour

So this is our 3rd year celebrating my daughter’s birthday and every year tops the previous year’s experience. The place is clean and picture-worthy. The best thing about this resort is that they have clean restrooms and showers.Perfect for families with kids since all the pools are kid proof. Rates have not increased since 3 years ago its still Php100 pesos entrance for 4-59 yrs old. They offer senior citizen discounts and babies 0-3 can enter for free.

    The good:
Great hiking activity. This is not your typical hike, leave your trekking poles at home as you'll be mostly gripping on rocks and trees to ascend.

Zip line, ATV, paintball. You won't get bored as they have other activities you can join in.

The comfort rooms are clean. Accommodating staff.

    The bad:
Most of the huts/sheds are farther away from the pool area. Their accommodations are tiny, just for 2 pax and for just 6 hours.

    The ugly:
The pool water is I think 80% chlorine, 20% salt water. The hot pools are less chlorinated but the cold spring pools, man, I've shampooed my hair twice and it didn't get rid of the chlorine smell. I don't know if that level of chlorine in the water is safe for young children.
