I did a two-day hike and I can’t imagine having a better experience in Banaue. Miller is very open, helpful and well-organised. He has a great knowledge about the rice terraces and life of the locals.
I highly recommend going to Banaue and choosing Miller as your guide!

Tour was very informative and at a comfortable pace. Jerick was excellent and went out of his way to get us a taxi when our phones wouldn't work and waited with us for it to arrive.

John Carlos is a very well-informed guide, knows the history thoroughly, and there are many dates, names and figures to recount. He's an excellent driver, and there are many hidden sites to visit on the long peninsula. John is polite, very personable, and a great guide. We learned so much about this important and tragic history and the brave legacy of the Filipino and American soldiers and civilians.

We would like to leave a review of our tour around Manila historical spots during our transit. The tour was amazing! Our guide, Mr. Brian, was an incredible guide and person. He shared stories about the history of Manila and the local culture, and answered all our questions. We really appreciate his expertise and are so glad that we took the tour. Our short stay in Manila became great because of this tour, and we fell in love with Philippines' remarkable and unique culture. Thank you very much for this experience! And we felt really safe during the tour which is really important for me when I travel.

We will definitely recommend Mr. Brian and this tour to all our friends and social media subscribers! ❤️❤️❤️

    Yours sincerely,
Katerina and Nikolay (Kate and Nick)

This was a spectacular and unforgettable experience for me and my niece! The private tour arranged by Vagabondpinas was planned to a perfect T and allowed for a worry-free holiday trip. Many thanks to our very experienced guide, Kenneth, who was very patient with us neophyte hikers (one of whom is a septuagenarian) and anticipated our every need (and shortcomings). Our very experienced and accommodating driver, Bong, made the 9-hour trip to and from Banaue-Manila fly by in a comfy Toyota Fortuner. He even showed us where to shop for local produce/veggies in Nueva Vizcaya and Nueva Ecija1. Beatrice of Banaue Homestay welcomed us warmly. Our room had a wonderful view of part of the rice terraces, and the roosters crowing in the cool dawn mist provided a great bucolic touch. Simon's Inn in Batad had more spartan amenities (as with other inns in the village, I believe) - be prepared with your own towel and toiletries. We realized that those who don't proceed to the 800-step one way hike to the Tappiah Falls could actually complete the arduous walk to the Batad top viewpoint (where there is, amazingly, internet connectivity by the hour) by early afternoon, rest and have a snack at Simon's Inn, then head back to the more comfy Banaue Homestay (tip). Another tip: ensure you're in tiptop physical condition to do the hikes - the sturdy walking sticks provided by Kenneth were truly a Godsend. Thanks a lot to Vagabondpinas and partner Expedia Philippines for this super memorable trip!!!

Our private group consisted of 2 kids - their 1st visit to the Philippines, and we all agree that this tour was the highlight of our Manila stay.

The tour consisted of the telling of Intramuros' history, along with Jose Rizal's last days while walking the walled city. We took a kalesa ride and had sorbetes in between visiting the churches sorrounding Intramuros. Andre' was knowledgable, as he pointed out different areas, and shared stories... For the older people in the group (Me) - it was a great refresher course on the Philippines' rich history.

A MUST DO for for Filipinos and foreigners visiting the Philippines!

we really enjoyed this tour. the guide, Dean Ashley, did a great job in explaining about the tour sites as well as the general Bicol and Legazpi culture. The weather didn't really cooperate, but as far as the tour and the tour guide are concerned, we were totally satisfied, and highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful day trip. You’d struggle to plan it all yourself. Ronnie, the driver, was really lovely and helped us out later in the trip after this meeting.

We did the 3D/2N Banaue and Batad rice field tour with Jonathan and had a wonderful time. Jonathan was very friendly and a safe driver. On the day of the rice field visit, we were guided by Bridget, who was very informative and helpful. She grew up in the village and showed us her house and how to make rice. The walk is a bit challenging at times, but Jonathan and Bridget made sure everyone was safe.

It’s a long drive from Manila, but it’s a special place with truly beautiful rice paddies and a big waterfall. We would recommend it.
