A must see in Catanduanes. As equally stunning as the viewpoints in Batanes. Make sure to go early in the morning as the weather can be warm up.

I stayed here for 3 nights but not at any of the beach accommodations. I stayed up the hill at Alon Surf Stay because it has better rooms and facilities. It's a steep road walk up and down though but worth it.
Nice beach to walk along with the seabreeze. Refreshing swim but only at high tide. You can walk very far out at low tide. One of the beach resorts has a restaurant with tables and chairs. I can't comment on the food as I only had a cold drink.

Always my favorite church in the island. This historical place is a place to go while you're on vacation in Catanduanes.

Amazing view! Absolutely breathtaking! A must visit when in Catanduanes. Only about 40 minutes from Virac. No need to hike because you can park your vehicle right there.

I originally intended to stay at the resort here but gave up because of the impractical online booking process. The beach is in an isolated location so you will need to take transport to get to and from. Though if your staying at the resort you have everything you need. Nice looking clean beach. Great place for families with children.

Rather than travel by jeepney from Puraran beach to Virac, I organised a trike so that I could stop off here for a while. Being a weekday there were no other visitors. Nice scenic waterfall, clean water and seating to just sit and enjoy. Entry 25 pesos.

A small white beach with rock formation on both sides. At the right side you can see the rock with the face of Jesus Christ.

I visited the fall during weekdays and there is no entrance. But during weekend there is probably a entrance for each person. The water is cold, refreshing and clean. There is a person maintaining the cleanliness of the area. There is a drinking area which is so refreshing. It is a natural spring water and safe to drink. It is quite far but worth it.

Straight from the airport, went to the quaint community of Carorian in the town of Bato for an islet hopping. And it’s the best coastline views I’ve seen to date. From the bluest waters to natural rock formation like Poseidon's Rock. Carved by howling winds from the Pacific Ocean forming a face like a sculpture of the God of the Sea, thus Poseidon’s Rock.

Having seen the wonders of Carorian with my own eyes was just beyond amazing. And it’s just roughly ₱2,500/US$50. (Actual visit was May 2017)

If you're looking for a place of prayer with solemnity and silence, you want to consider this place. It's 30-minutes away from Virac Airport and few minutes away from the beautiful beach of Sacahon.

It rained the night before we visited the park hence; it was wet and slippery inside the cave. Bat droppings were evident and it was quite smelly.

Rock formations originating from the floor as well as those hanging from the ceiling were pleasantly arranged. Took us less than 30 minutes for this attraction. Surrounding is being restored due to recent landslide in the area.

Entrance fee costs to Php 20 per person. Kindly bring flashlight and rubber soled shoes for the attraction.

This is the only place in Virac that qualifies as a mall, be it a semi open air mall. It is very small, but so is Virac, so don't expect much of it.

The mall has a 'hypermarket', which is basically a small supermarket with some extra departments on the ground floor, and an appliance shop, furniture shop and clothes shop on the second floor. Just around it are a few eateries, some of them very local, and some chain restaurants.

Behind it, on the other side of the bridge, is an open area with a lot of cafes and bars, a podium and a square where people seem to hang out. I'm not sure if that's part of the Town Center experience, but it's worth checking out.

As said, the size of it all is very little, so don't expect this place to offer an afternoon of shopping. Rather an hour if you need some groceries or some other basics or just something to eat. It's not really a cozy place either and the mian building doesn't have air conditioning, so it gets rather warm there.

One hour boat ride from Caramoran. You will be mesmerize by the beautiful landscape. They say that Catanduanes is a happy island , indeed we are very happy to see this place even though this is very far.
