Depending on what time of the year you are here the view may differ but we were there in May and it was really beautiful and better than other times we have been there,I dont remeber it being so large and extending as far as it does now. There is no fee to take photos but drivers are required to pay a fee and many restaurants may charge a fee if you are not buying anything.Well worth the look when in Ubud

I visited Tanah Lot Temple with my family. After buying tickets, we went straight into the temple area. It turned out that the inside was very nice with views of the open sea. We were happy to take photos there. Our children could also play in the garden area. The place was clean. We spent a really good time. there for a long time

Good place to visit, there are some amazing views and picture opportunities. You’ll need your guide to help you navigate the monkeys here.

We hired a driver for the day and he took us here - we hadn’t asked to but he suggested it and we thought why not. It’s 50 MYr to get in - about £2.50 and as such it was fine. Tourists can take part in a spiritual experience and bathe in the water- we opted not to and simply walked around and took it all in. The worst thing was having no option but to walk past loads of shops on your way out - all trying to get your attention. It was pretty touristy

Dropped by for a visit and did not expect the hikes to take at least an hour each. Ended up walking around taking pictures before heading back to the entrance.

Even through the short walk, we found it to be very enjoyable with manageable crowds for good photos and there were also refreshments available long the trail.

We would definitely come back in the future if we return to Bali.

Must do once in your trip, it's a very nice path and walk, the end is really rewarding since you can sit at one of the beautiful cafes, enjoy the view of the rice field as you sip on a fresh tender coconut or fresh juices out have a tasty leisurely lunch

An Instagrammers dream, but we did also enjoy the old fashioned fish and lovely gardens here. It was hot so there were plenty of spots to purchase a drink or meal. Touristy but lots of fun.

We recently visited the Ulun Dana Bratan Temple as part of a day trip from Ubud booked through a travel company called Ubud Area Tours. The temple is located on the shore of Lake Beratan and are open from around 7am to 7pm daily. There is a fairly large parking lot, public toilets and even a few cafes at the temple. Entry fee is IDR75K per adult, no sarong required in general temple grounds area.

You'll find fairly large and open grounds along the lake. Some tall trees in area to create shade, nice landscaping and overall attractive setting around temple structures, typical of Balinese Hindu architecture you may have seen at other temples around the island. The main temple seems to date back to 1633. There are two structures situated in the lake just off the shore, these make for great photographs.

Within the temple grounds, there are a couple locations where you can have interactions with rescued wildlife animals which can include having pictures taken and feeding for small fees. We enjoyed seeing the fruit bats, civets (think Luwak coffee) and owls. Very helpful if your driver/guide knows the history of the temple and can share a bit with you as you explore the grounds. We spent around 45 minutes at Pura Ulun Danu Bratan before moving on to the next destination on the day.

We were lucky to be staying in the hotel beside the temple and ate all our breakfasts here looking out at the beautiful lotus and lilly ponds.Free to enter and look from the restaurant but 100000rph to pay if you want to inspect the temple in traditional dress. We had free access and went and had a look.If you are on a budget, dont worry about paying the entrance fee and just have a drink or some food at the restaurant. At night they have a Barong Dance which will cost you 100000rph to go and watch.Worth the money for the cultural experience.Beautifully maintained and keep your eyes open for a water monitor in the ponds.A must to visit whilst in Ubud

This is a very beautiful monument. In this place, the names of people who died during the Bali bombing were written. The place is in the center of the crowd, so we visited here, we were very happy to see the magnificent monument with original Balinese design. We hung out in one of the coffee shops next to the monument. ..

It's a nice place to go to. Not too much tourists making one enjoy the place more. Clean toilets and reasonable entrance fee.

Visited early in the morning at 9:30 am and only us and 2 other travellers. Beautiful gardens and buildings. Historical photos giving history of the King/royal family and the Dutch. Walk the steps to the top for great views and photos.
Cheap entry tickets (less than $10 au pp).
Not a time consuming visit (30 mins) to look around.
Recommended as part of a day trip North.

Another very beautiful and peaceful place. In order not to get into groups of tourists, it is better to come in the morning. Interesting history, many different trails to explore and unusual views.
