I embarked on an otherworldly adventure at Palau's renowned "Jellyfish Lake," and oh, what a marvel of nature it was! over thousands of golden, stingless jellyfish surrounded me, and the experience felt surreal and magical, like stepping into a dream. As I snorkeled in the lake, these ethereal creatures gracefully glided around me, filling me with wonder and tranquility. Need to hike a bit before arrive the lake which tested my fitness, but the reward was beyond compare—the chance to connect profoundly with nature. However, I must mention that the water quality was a bit unclear on that day. Nevertheless, I cherished the moment with swimming with jellyfishes. It's an enchanting journey, and the memory lingers long after leaving—a must-do for any Palau traveler seeking to be truly enchanted beneath the waves.

Remember, do not put sunscreen before go there, which to essential to preserve the delicate ecosystem and all jellyfishes.

First off, there are not fish here, but we saw a salt water crocodile. This place is magical for photos with the turquoise blue and green hills. It has mud on the bottom that you dive down and spread in you to get younger. It was a great place to enjoy and swim and take pictures. It’s not a snorkeling spot.

It is a sand bar where you can walk along. It is more picturesque from the above. It is also might not be visible during the tide.

The waterfall was very nice to see, but the walk back to the top is exhuasting! At the bottom of the steps where you reach the water, you can either walk along the rocks and river (which is far nicer), or walk along a jungle path which is quite overgrown.

If your in Palau you really should boat through the Rock Islands, they're beautiful! I took some video footage as we boated through natural rock arches and cruised over turquoise water.

Few people visit this beautiful atoll, 50 km north of the main island. It takes an hour by car and another hour by boat to reach Kayangel island where there is a tiny community of about 100 souls.

We visited here today: a collection of World War II armaments/bombs/relics, a large colorful Bai, a small botanical garden and an excellent collection of carved storyboards in the historical museum.

Short self walking tour of outside/open aquarium having educational zones of sea life nicely set up for the tourist. Cost is $10 for adult with kids being less.

I saw Mandarin Lake as part of a kayak tour. The Mandarin fish are difficult to spot but there are so many fish to look at if you can't find them. The visibility is amazing for snorkeling.
