I like the story of Joseph Bau very much. Beautiful, exciting and inspiring. I hope that the daughters of the Bau will be able to keep this place for other travelers to tell them the story of their father. I wish them luck! Love :)

Very enjoyable museum, with a wide range of permanent artists, including Picasso and Renoir and a very interesting temporary exhibit of Maryan.

This is not a traditional museum. Rather, it is a 12-room guided tour with film and panoramas that describe a particular group of volunteers in the Palmach during 1938-1948 period.

I recommend that one starts with the daily free tour on the third floor. This for me was the most interesting as it presented current thoughts, perspectives, observance and cultures of Jews from all around the world There were explanations for all the above. The question often asked is whether being Jewish is a religion, a nationality, a culture, or an identity feeling. This was shown through video presentations of all types. The second floor traced the history the antisemitism and the movement of the Jews interesting and well-presented for young and old. This is very different from the Diaspora Museum

A fun, lively indoor market for all kinds of amazing food. I highly recommend you come here hungry and try lots of different specialties. The parking can be difficult so try to take a bus or walk.

This center offers a running commentary in our own language through a serious of window scenes. One side follows Rabin's life. The other side follows Israeli history and politics. It is a very helpful presentation of the two as they fit together.

Do not miss this amazing museum. Ilana Goor is now 86 years old and lives at the property so it is like a working museum.
This amazing lady is dyslexic and from a young age knew she wanted to be creative so began collecting all sorts of materials to create amazing pieces.
The museum not only showcases her work, it also displays her incredible collection of art. Every room is crammed with interesting pieces. Images of the artist and her history make this a very intimate space.
If you are in TA, this place is a must see.

Very easy quick tour through his home. an inside look at where he lived and worked at home. His library left a lasting impression on me of him as a man. The varied topics and sheer volume of books he surrounded himself with. Simple to walk from the beach down Ben-Gurion boulevard and stop in, as if you are saying hi.

Even though this is not the real location, it is still a great place to learn about the events leading up to the Declaration of the State of Israel. The movie is very informative, all the pictures on the walls are really educational and the bonus is the rest of the historical information in the building. The models of Tel Aviv are so interesting.

I had my expectations pretty high up before I paid a visit to the gallery but boy was I stunned with the glamour and glitz of this place. I had read reviews of the one and only Asaf and was star struck when I saw him there in person! LOL. One of the genuinely sweetest person in Tel Aviv; I was truly impressed with his generosity and passion of managing the gallery which I just heard won the best gallery at the latest World Art Dubai!! Upon my return to Hong Kong, I am spreading the word of mouth and hope to be back soon. One of the rare occasions where your experience simply exceeds the expectation.

Walking down Rothschild, we accidentally stopped in this museum when my cousin who lives in Tel Aviv walked in. The 4 of us had a wonderful time. We started with a movie downstairs which explained well the history of the Hagana, an important part to understanding the beginning of the state off Israel.

We then went upstairs and were given a personalized tour just because we asked by Abigail. She was wonderful and explained everything.

The museum was set up in a fun and interactive way that kept you interested and I would highly recommend making a stop here.

    The museum is handicapped accessible

I did the tour - reviewed elsewhere. The shop is interesting as there are a lot of well made items not available elsewhere as well as books about Bauhaus. Well worth dropping in if your pass.

There are a lot of places that are closed on Saturday in Tel Aviv. Eretz Israel Museum was open and we're glad we visited. Interesting exhibits of artifacts, coins, stamps, glass and other antiquities. Highly recommended.
