I like the story of Joseph Bau very much. Beautiful, exciting and inspiring. I hope that the daughters of the Bau will be able to keep this place for other travelers to tell them the story of their father. I wish them luck! Love :)

Very enjoyable museum, with a wide range of permanent artists, including Picasso and Renoir and a very interesting temporary exhibit of Maryan.

Do not miss this amazing museum. Ilana Goor is now 86 years old and lives at the property so it is like a working museum.
This amazing lady is dyslexic and from a young age knew she wanted to be creative so began collecting all sorts of materials to create amazing pieces.
The museum not only showcases her work, it also displays her incredible collection of art. Every room is crammed with interesting pieces. Images of the artist and her history make this a very intimate space.
If you are in TA, this place is a must see.

I saw a sign while shopping in Neve Tzedek, pointing to the Gutman. I then looked online and saw positive reviews for the museum so I stopped by. Really nice space, and if you like Jaffa, there are some great paintings of old Jaffa. The museum is small, so one needs no more than hour to see everything. There's also a nice gift shop. Generally requires an entry (reasonable) but was free on the day I went.

I stumbled on this museum, knowing little of this artist, and was absolutely enchanted. The home, the street (one is surrounded by history and beautiful White City icons), the video, the photos, and of course the art...it is like a visit with Rubin himself. It is a small collection and can be seen in a short time, or one can indulge in the home and the man and the history of early Tel Aviv. I loved it.

This is a must for anyone who loves art; the gallery displays the best in Naive Art from around the world and the collection is changed on a regular basis. We come here every time we are in Tel Aviv and are always impressed by the display. The owner has been very generous with his time in sharing his extensive knowledge in the field, both on technique and the biographies of the artists shown. In addition to the paintings there are a number of very affordable items that make unique gifts, a 16 month calendar, trivets, tiles, etc., with pictures of the various works displayed in the gallery.

The museum covers the Yemenite jeweler's craft - a dyeing trait. And also the journey of the Jews that immigrated from Yemen to Israel from the 19th century on.
The crafting of jewels from silver threads is amazing to see and makes you value these wonderful jewels even more
This is a must see if in Jaffa

An amazing spot in the center of Tel Aviv. Once you manage to look away from the 22nd floor's view, you'll find this gallery very interesting and refreshing on it's own and even better if the curator is available for a tour.
The exhibitions change about twice a year, make sure to follow the gallery on social media and hear whenever there's an event hosted there.

This gallery is divided into two shops within the lobby of the David Intercontinental Hotel. It features some attractive pieces by a range of better known artists from Israel and elsewhere, including Agam and Meisler.

Prices are top end and nothing is marked. I was concerned to be quoted two widely different figures for the same piece by different staff members on two successive days, which, understandably, put me off.
