Newe Zedek was the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv. It's a cosmopolitan area, a great place to live in, or have a coffee. Newe Zedek is a great place to go for a stroll and soak up the vibes.

Enjoyed the area during the night, great for dining out at one of the many restaurants close by.

With the lights at night port area looks really good and has a great vibe to it, during day not so much.

Certainly one of the main things to do in Tel Aviv.

Tuesday at the Nachalat Binyamina closed off street is much quieter than on a Friday. Very different artists showing off their works. Worth an hour. Plan to buy something or a few things! Great for home art, gifts for children and/or grandchildren.

We rented bikes at Star bikes and rode about 5 miles toward beach and then on beach board walk. Recommend seeing the park and doing the ride but find a different bike rental. Terrible service, didn’t check bikes out we had to ask for air, my seat kept falling down and to top it off, we had to leave our drivers license behind. We returned the bikes, paid and failed to retrieve our DL. Didn’t realize it until in taxi 30 minutes away. Store guy was too busy smoking and visiting w friend to think a minute about work. Clearly we had a bad experience! Don’t rent bikes here!!

Stroll through the ancient ruins of Jaffa Port and explore the Biblical stories and mythology of the Old Port. Jaffa Port is located on the Mediterranean Sea, it is one of the world's oldest ports. These days, the Old Port has become a trendy address for people who want to escape the hustle and bustle of Tel Aviv.

Hustling and bustling shopping street, not too interesting, unless you want to shop. There are some nice restaurants though and, if you have a sweet tooth, there nice small cafes selling ice cream, sweets, pastries and strong Turkish coffee.

Rothschild Boulevard is one of the principal streets of Tel Aviv. It is named after the Rothschild family. The street is lined with up-market shops and restaurants. It's good for walking and cycling, its historic buildings have a rich history. Rothschild Boulevard has many Bauhaus buildings, which are examples of the International style, which typified 20th century architecture. Rothschild Boulevard makes good use of Tel Aviv's Mediterranean lifestyle.

This is a most interesting, historic home that is very worthwhile visiting. There is so much history here but one needs to look at all the items and understand them in their context, especially the many photographs. The range of topics in his vast library is most impressive and, if interested, they can share an online catalog. We found the guides to be helpful and pleasant. PS it’s open on Shabbat/Saturdays

This is a lovely renovated park with buildings from the early 20th century reconstructed and beautifully restored to their Eduardian charm.

We have not made a systematic tour of the Bauhaus buildings in Tel Aviv, but only a quick tour of some of the most significant neighborhoods of this style.
Before the trip, I didn't know that Tel Aviv had the world record for Bauhaus-style buildings, nor that these neighborhoods were UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
During my travels, however, I have always paid attention to urban architectures, and therefore, where they were present, to buildings in the Bauhaus style (a good part of which is also present in Italy, despite the preponderance at that time of buildings inspired by the rhetorical tradition of fascism). So the discovery of Tel Aviv as a world reference point from this point of view was very important for me.
It is comforting to see that many buildings in the "White City" have already been restored, and that others are being restored.
And of course I don't agree with those who believe that these neighborhoods can only be appreciated by those who are fond of architecture. These neighborhoods are a cross-section of the history of the twentieth century in the Western world, and they are the history and soul of Tel Aviv itself. So, in my view, they can be enjoyed by anyone who is "fond of the world".
