A street having small kiosks presenting crafts and craftmanship , a veritable feast for one's eyes and pocket, Most of the crafts are hand made and a great place to buy gifts to take homeTuesday and Saturday

I did a guided live-streamed tour of the Templer Colony in Sarona with Tomar from Heygo. Sarona is a neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel which started as a German Templer Colony in Palestine in 1871.
By 1889, over two hundreds people lived in Sarona and there were 41 homes, a communal hall, a winery, workshops, barns and sheds.
The Sarona colonists brought modern farming tools and practices and they focused on crops and products they could readily sell. The water pump can still be seen there today.
The area is now a popular shopping district, with museums focusing on its history history, and IDF complexes. Some of the houses earmarked for preservation are: Original Community House, Old Lämmle House, Glenk House, The New Community House, Friedrich Häring House, New School and Community Complex and Immanuel Steller House.

The original Sarona Templer Clock is now on display in the Sarona Museum, accessible via the visitor’s center. A new carillon clock adorns the facade of one house.
We also saw the old wooden bowling alley which provided recreation long ago. We also saw grapefruit trees and Tomar told us that there is an Oktoberfest starting here the next day after the tour.

A excellent selection of shops and restaurants in two sections to suit all budgets and tastes. A little tricky getting around but if you have the day then there is no need to rush. My favourite store was probably Renuar. Very good experience and would recommend for first time travellers to Tel Aviv.

It's a great place for a relaxing hang in one of it's superb cafes or restaurants; from sushi to shawarma to tabun to upscale delis. Lots of boutiques and three greengrocers, two natural organic stores, nails, beauty parlours, barbershop, fish store, two book stores, two electronic computer labs, two dry cleaners, three bakeries and a supermarket make this the most convenient shopping & relaxation center in the area. And it's just down my block - yaaay!

This is a very nice mall, just don't try to get there during school holidays.for some reason the fact it has a train station just next to it causes many parents to do a "train fun day" with their kids, and the whole mall is packet with screaming kids and annoyed parents.
There's a large variety of shops af almost any kind, and a good number of places to eat. (not many restaurants, more fast food and cafe's. but you can get to Sarona, which is 5 minutes walk for a decent restaurant.

If your hotel is close by and you want to go for a walk on Tayelet Promenade, you might just as well have a look at the Opera Tower, but do not expect too much.

This is a mall in the very center of Tel-Aviv, close to Rabin Square.
It is different from most other closed and airconditioned malls in Israel, as it is half-open air and half-closed.
There are many nice fashion shops. but the real highlight is the -1 floor with a fountain and a coffeeplace around it, sometimes they even have live Jazz music there !
On this floor many stores are targeting young mothers with stores for kids fashion and toys. There is also a Jimboree for young kids, so it is a nice place for young mothers (or grandmas) with kids to spend time there.
