Tuesday at the Nachalat Binyamina closed off street is much quieter than on a Friday. Very different artists showing off their works. Worth an hour. Plan to buy something or a few things! Great for home art, gifts for children and/or grandchildren.

Worth walking to Jaffa flea market. Interesting buildings and shops and a good place to grab an ice cream or coffee and people watch for a while

Beautiful place. Beautiful people. Beautiful food. Beautiful country.

So much to feast on, a fantastic way to spend a few hours or a few minutes.

Take a walk over and enjoy.

Another amazing trip, booked via our operator, beats any UK market. Beautiful fresh selection of food and spices.
Not expensive and some wonderful unusual finds. Wish we could take it all home with us.

I visited the Tel Aviv antiques market in its new location on
Givon Street in August 2019. Although for some odd reason it was closed the day I went, I was assured by several store keepers in the area that it’s normally open every Tuesday and Friday. Here’s a review from the
    “Culture Trip” website:

Tel Aviv’s only proper antique market — the kind that has collectors loading up their vans and presenting the wares they are heartbroken to have to sell — recently lost its home in Dizengoff Square. It has relocated to Givon Square, a new plaza lodged between Tel Aviv’s cinematheque on Ha’Arba Street and the new Gindi City Mall and high rise development on Hashmonaim. It’s set to open again on Fridays so check it out. Where else can you find an old wind up clock that is also a pocket knife?

A great place to mingle with friends, a large variety of snacks, drinks, song and good humor. The fun starts after sundown.

A street market behind TLV mall. Interesting if you are into second hand clothing, antiques (real or fake, hard to tell) and stamps. We did a walk by and checked a couple of items for vintage cameras. 15-20 min are enough to determine whether you want to buy anything or hit the restaurants ad nearby cafes.
