    Life changing experience!
Jaron over performed providing timely airport transportation and wonderful hotel accommodations. Jaron’s historical tour of Jerusalem was very informative and thorough. Jaron was great company as a guide and a true professional. Jaron led me on a meaningful journey to the Nova Festival, Gaza perimeter, and a kibbutz attacked in October. The power of seeing the devastation up close and personal will be a day I will always cherish and remember. Jaron’s pride in his work made my trip extra special. I highly recommend his expertise.

We did a tour with friends through the dessert and mountains of Eilat. Great experience, among others thanks to this excellent guide! At a certain point, we could see - from Israel - Jordan, Saoudi-Arabia and Egypt, all in 1 view!

We visited Israel for the first time in February 2024 as volunteers to help the country, and then added on a few days for general touring. Sagi was our tour guide in Jerusalem and Acco (Acre) and we worked with him to make the most of our short time. Sagi is a wealth of knowledge of history of Israel and the people who lived in our land. His ability to share both information and stories is both broad and deep, which he shared as we walked. His positive and happy attitude made it easy to converse about the times past and what Israelis are experiencing in these tough times. We plan on coming back for a two-week trip and have Sagi join us to continue to explore this beautiful country!

We spent 2 days with Joel in Jerusalem. This was a trip with two of my teen daughters, my wife and my in laws - all of whom had never been to Israel before - to spend some time with my oldest who was in the middle of a gap year and on a break between semesters.

Our first day was spent in the old city. Despite the fact that my in-laws are far less observant than our family (we are conservative) and the significant differences in interests Joel made the history of the city come alive for our septogenerians and our teens.

Joel's knowledge of the history and evolution of the city, not just in the Jewish aspects, but in the Christian and Muslim aspects lent context and relevance to what we were seeing.

Our day culminated at the Western Wall which was incredibly moving.

The second day we spent seeing the Chagall windows, Yad Vashem, and the Shuk.

Again, Joel's knowledge of the city, the markets and the history of the area was invaluable. He brought relevance to everything.

Through the Shuk, Joel knew many of the vendors and carefully guided us to the best tastes of Israel.

Joel's style and mannerisms help him to connect everyone to what is happening and made our trip incredibly meaningful and memorable.

    HIGHLY recommend.

The tour was overall enjoyable and informative! Yonatan was very knowledgeable and presented the information in an engaging, easy to understand way. The tour encouraged me to think more about where my food comes from and the process of how its made and delivered. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about environment and sustainability in our daily lives.

This is the best way to see Jerusalem! Get up early, beat the crowds and learn a ton about this wonderful city. Phil was awesome and offered a ton of history about the city. Biking allows you to cram in a ton!

I asked Patrick to guide a group of friends of mine who spoke various languages and he managed it all perfectly! He is one of a kind as he will give you the needed information but also add many fun facts which will not keep you unmoved! His humour, sympathy and knowledge will make you want to ask for more! Patrick is THE guide you need!

This such a wonderful organization. The coordinators are so kind, and put a lot of work into making each event successful. Every event is inexpensive and accessible, which allows for anyone to have a genuine learning experience and adventure in Israel.
My favorite events so far have been a hike in Wadi Jahir and an Iftar Shabbat.

We (mum and 22 year old son from the UK) have never been on a dedicated tour before. This tour of Jerusalem was given as a present by our hosts in Israel - lifelong family friends. It was for a whole day - and Dani continued way beyond the agreed times. It was incredible - Dani was warm friendly and highly knowledgeable about history, natural history, local customs - no question was left unanswered. He tuned into our level of knowledge and ability to take in information - altering the tour to fit our interests while sticking to his very ambitious plan. We were pleased to be able to do so much on foot. It felt more like a day out with a friend than a formal tour.
We came home with a love of Jerusalem and an appetite for another visit. Dad and younger brother stayed home for this visit - but we hope to book a tour with Dani for them someday too.

Our first trip to Israel was the most fabulous experience for all of us! We planned with Zivit who was extremely patient with someone who knew nothing and came in with advice from many. Getting the through the airport in Tel Aviv was seamless and provided us a confident way to begin our adventures. Our guide, Khen, greeted us with a huge smile and positive energy that did not subside the entire 10 days we traveled together. Khen studied our itinerary prior to meeting us and made changes as he saw necessary. He went off the itinerary to add in special places that he thought we would love as he got to know us better. It was the most spectacular experience, and Khen, along with Shatour, allowed us to truly feel the Israeli spirit. We highly recommend planning your trip with Shatour!
