On my recent trip to Israel with Birthright, I had the pleasure of having Elchi as our tour guide. His energy, humor, and extensive experience made exploring Israel incredibly enjoyable. He genuinely cared about our preferences and tailored the experience to fit our interests, making every moment unforgettable. Elchi’s passion for his job was evident, as he struck the perfect balance between fun and educational activities. His dedication ensured that our group had an amazing time, both during the day and on many exciting nights out. Couldn’t recommend him more!

I had done a lot of research ahead of time and was hoping for really good and Puzzle more than delivered. We had a big family drama to deal with right before departure and they rolled with it and managed to make our trip truly outstanding. Our daughter’s bat mitzvah amongst the Chagall Windows will never be forgotten nor will any other part of our amazing trip. The food was incredible, the itinerary just right for our family and activity/fitness level, and we had an amazing time in both Israel and Egypt. Finally, the staff made the trip. Our guides Gal and Dany were fantastic and the staff were so warm and kind and helpful.

We wanted to have some different experiences during our stay in Israel, and this was definitely one of the highlights. We met up with Chef Adi and the rest of our group at the restaurant. Since it was winter, we were offered some hot drinks before we left for our tour and then we were off. Amazing tour of the market itself visiting many unique stands for food, spices, juices, breads, fish...We headed back to the restaurant and worked together on a delicious dinner of Moroccan fish, matbucha, taboule, tahini and fresh bread. Our kids (9, 13) were fully involved and had a great time. And the food was delish! Chef Adi got a huge hug from my 9 year old at the end of the evening. Highly recommended. Also, Yuval at the office (Zuzu) was great to deal with.

Three food-loving couples with very discerning and sophisticated palates signed up for a culinary tour and cooking experience with local Chef Yuval Attias.

Chef greeted us in Mahane Yehuda Market with a tray of rugelach which set the bar very high for the experience. This delicious s’amuse bouche was followed by a short walk to a juice bar where we sampled various health food drinks and natural face and hand creams.

Our tour continued to an Israeli spice shop where we sampled combinations of spices and grains that could be either consumed cooked or uncooked and added to cereals, salads and meat and poultry dishes. The only downside was that we could not buy everything we wanted because of limited space in our suitcases!

Chef Yuval Attias’ school and demonstration kitchen is located a very short distance from the Market. Upon entry, we were issued hats and aprons and got to work!

Chef is an excellent teacher! In addition to providing us with recipes, he provided a very clear step by step demonstration of cooking techniques (e.g. the proper way to hold a knife for slicing vs. chopping) and allowed ample time for practice.

We helped create a delicious and very nutritious Israeli feast that included freshly prepared tahini, hummus, a chicken and a meat dish as well as eggplant, two types of pita, and a cake.
The only items we didn’t prepare was the delicious red and white wine!

The tour and luncheon was a highlight of our trip to Israel. Chef Attias ensured we had an outstanding culinary and dining experience and it is for this reason I have spent time writing this well-deserved and admiring review!

This tour was very interesting. We had a private tour. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful - she explained everything, answered all our questions and was flexible to show us what interested us. It was a unique experience which I recommend for everyone interested to get to know more about the Jewish Orthodox culture.

Yaeli was a delightful tour guide who we really enjoyed spending time with . We loved her taking us to all the special food shops and stalls around the market and explaining the origin and history of the products . It was a very special food tour and Yaeli really enhanced our visit . She was so knowledgeable about the history of the city too as we wandered around looking at the incredible historic city of Jerusalem .She was very caring too , making sure when we said goodbye that we knew exactly how to get back to our hotel .

This was our first trip to Israel from India and Itmar made it very special!

We did a personalised tour of 3 days - We wanted to combine history and nature and it was very well planned, we left every morning early to cover maximum and heard loads of interesting stories across the journey to key destinations like Jerusalem, Caeseria, Haifa and Masada, we combined short hikes near the historic sites with him to Sea of Galilee area of Arbil and En Gedi natural reserve near the Dead Sea !

Itmar also ensured we taste the local cuisine and took us to lots of nooks and corners across every area which were unique !

We highly recommend Itmar for a great guided tour across Israel and Yousuf was a great driver with an excellent car

The shuk tour and tastings were fun and informative. We had a group of 16 ranging in age from 4 to 80 years old. They made the dinner workshop and meal experience fun for everyone. A trip highlight for all.

This such a wonderful organization. The coordinators are so kind, and put a lot of work into making each event successful. Every event is inexpensive and accessible, which allows for anyone to have a genuine learning experience and adventure in Israel.
My favorite events so far have been a hike in Wadi Jahir and an Iftar Shabbat.

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the Israel My Way team, and the owner Yoav, were working silently in the background together to make sure our arrival went smoothly and all was going according to plan. I never had to worry about getting from point a to point b as the logistics were seamlessly coordinated. But this was just the beginning...

Our guides, Rona and Ari were top notch. Not only do they have profound knowledge of their country's history and culture, it's clear they know people. By the end of our time with them, we felt like old friends. Further, their ability to adapt, pivot and design our days specifically to our interests was impressive. They spoke with passion and we were hanging on to every word. We were interested in all three religions, politics, culture and of course, food! They were easily able to share history from the perspective of the three religions, discuss Israeli politics openly, and there was no question we couldn't ask. We learned so much about the people of Israel!

My time in the Old City was profound and emotional, and no doubt, without Rona I would have been lost, and it would have been an empty experience. After walking an educational and inspiring tour through the Four Quarter of the Old City, including the Wailing Wall, we visited the famous Church of the Holy Sepulchre which is considered to be the holiest site by Christians, and where Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. Afterwards, Rona took me to the Jerusalem food market where we strolled the stalls together, tasting Israeli delicacies and learning about the food. Our day was topped off with a stop at the famous restaurant, Machneyuda for a lunch and wine, and to experience the vibrant and joyful people of Israel, celebrating a day in the life. It was magic.

In Tel Aviv, we wanted to see what locals see, but also with a mix of history and food! Ari took us on a walking tour along the beach in Tel Aviv, through Jaffa, The American Colony, the Florentin neighborhood that is painted with street art and known for workshops. Finally, we ended our tour at the Carmel food market where we learned about Israeli agriculture and ate Israeli schnitzel! We couldn't have asked for a better day, and truly loved our time with Ari.

This was a deeply impactful/bucket list trip and I can't wait to go back to explore more of this beautiful country!
