What travelers are saying
- TravelibrarianIstanbul, Türkiye185 contributionsA real market, bustling with locals doing their shopping. There are also many little bars and restaurants serving great food and local craft beer. Pull up a stool and watch the locals shopping and hanging out. Easy place to get into conversations with people. Very enjoyable atmosphere.Written 24 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BluebellplasnewyddCardiff, UK1,648 contributionsDon't buy anything here. You will not be able to avoid the souk on your trip to Jerusalem. There are interesting things for sale but you will be expected to bargain. You will be constantly hassled but best to avoid replying in a polite way. I noticed some antiquity shops with "certificates" of authenticity for the items. You would be brave to purchase here. However the souk is to beestenjoyed with the colours and smells.Written 19 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They have a huge selection of candies ranging from the usual favorites to more exotic brands from all over the world.
The prices are some of the best I've seen in Israel and they are very efficient considering how busy it is at the store..
There are also cold drinks there.
The street is loads of fun with great atmosphere and a large variety of shops.
Of all the candy stores I've been to in Jerusalem, this is easily my favorite.Written 1 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
