Highlights were a delicious meal at Azura (divine stuffed aubergine), shopping for spices to bring home and the Pri Ha Adama pottery shop on HaEgoz lane.
So crowded and so much going on a Friday as people are busy shopping.
3 Ways to experience it

Shopping in the Old Quarter can be a challenging experience but our very knowledgeable guide took the stress completely away by taking us to George's lovely store.

At the end of tis shopping expeditions you mount the steps and suddenly you are at the Jaffa Gate the largest entrance to the actual historic Old City of Jerusalem sacred to each of the major monotheistic religion...

You can probably check off all items on your shopping list after a visit here -- and you will feel good about supporting this non-profit organization.
Their craftsmanship displayed in the gift shop is beautiful The institution is headed by a thoughtful, wonderful visionary - Nava Ein-Mor -- who does so much with very little.

There are artworks and prints to suit all budgets and the shopping was hassle-free, you got the feeling she really cares about the art, I genuinely think the owner loves what she does.
Using simple, elegant, modern designs from local artisans this shop is a welcome addition to the Christian Quarter, and the Old City in general.

It is real and genuine with locals selling and shopping.
It is a great way to spend some time wandering through the souk, so many shops selling many different things, the food and spice shops are particularly interesting.

Barbara Shaw has such original and amazing products that souvenir shopping in Israel has completely changed.
Conveniently located in the middle of Jerusalem's upscale German Colony neighborhood, Barbara Shaw's tiny shop is stocked with unique gifts to bring back from Israel.

We spent two hours (for the two of us) in this store adjacent to the Mamilla shopping complex, what an experience!
The shop owner is so much fun patient and will spend quality time with you to find your perfect scent for you.

Located a short distance from the Jaffa Gate, Vic’s Armenian Art Studio has lovely ceramic pieces which are unique to the mass-produced stuff in the main shopping streets.
Stepping down into his modest shop and studio transports one into a world of unique but quintessential Armenian art - each piece individually designed and crafted.

Zak's Jerusalem Gifts - I recommend shopping at Zak's Jerusalem Gifts while visiting Jerusalem Israel.
My wife and I enjoyed amazing tea from a nearby vendor as we chatted with Zak, the knowledgeable owner of this shop having a varied and tasteful display of antiquities from Israel.

Jerusalem is an amazing cultural and historical city--with Rafael jewelry a must stop for shopping.
In a city that sometimes seems comprised of only synagogues, churches, mosques and jewelry stores, Rafael's shop is an oasis.

We had a delightful time in the shop and received wonderful service from the helpful staff!
I highly recommend shopping here as you will not be disappointed and everyone that I have met that works there is friendly and helpful.

I have been shopping at Ophir for almost 30 years, and only wish I had the resources to buy their jewelry much more often!

This is my MOST favorite shop in the whole city, mostly because when you go, he has such an incredibly selection of work by so many local artists, but also, he listens to what you have to say, what you're looking...
I would shop here first before visiting other shops in the area.

This is the shop if a photographer, and one with a great archive and an interesting story.
