Sure it's not very expansive, but it is one of the few places around here that isn't packed to the brim. Relaxing little place with a nice story that's worth seeing.

Went on a private tour and avoided many of the long lines here to see where Jesus was born. Definitely a different feel from one side of the wall to the other side when you cross over to the West Bank side. There is so much to take in with all the history. Wished we had more time. Definitely plan out your day. Traffic can be overwhelming on the roads.

Rachel's Tomb is the burial place of the Biblical matriarch Rachel. The Tomb is sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims. When I visited Rachel's Tomb many years ago, access was easy. However, since then access has become highly contested and certain cultural groups have been excluded, Rachel's Tomb has been effectively separated from Bethlehem.

sure - this is quite an important place to visit - as its effectively an engineering monument which shows how good water supply was in ancient times.

The true place is nice for pick nick - but the pools are dirty and a bit let down for being a monument; it seems no one cares about them....

This place holds loads of history about the city. It was built by the first Mayer of Bethlehem Municipality and was decorated and furnished with western art. Don't pass by without noticing it's architectural wealth or the beauty of Gazzawi house fronting it.
