Yoav was an incredible guide! So knowledgable about everything we saw (including things we didn’t see). And was super friendly when answering all kinds of questions. I took the tour when there were some “tensions” but I always felt safe with Yoav. Great tour overall!

We enoyed the tour with the family of three being our guides. We felt part of the Palesitinian community. Value for the money was good.

Apart from the visits to the grotto, churches, shepherds fields and the fences, we were treated with local delicacies. This was not at a store, so it we did not experience a dressed up sales event but rather an exchange of cultures.

Yes, the tour ended at a local souvenir shop of the community, but this was limited to just 20 minutes with no pressure at all. And to our suprise at the end of the tour there wasn't even an opportunity to leave a tip.

This was illustrative for the good vibe during the trip.

This Jeep Tour was fascinating, the tour guide very friendly (he made mint tea for all in the middle of mountains), and the historic sites were breathtaking.

What an amazing experience of Bethlehem and the monasteries of the Judean desert. Michael even adjusted the tour for some closings to include the Herodion. Michael has an intimate knowledge of these sites, a wonderful appreciation of them and he is personally connected with the entire region. What a gift to have found him! We not only had a day of wonderful and meaningful experiences, but gained an insight into the region that we never would have acquired without him.

This was a once in a lifetime tour with Ashraf — who lives in Bethlehem. Ashraf was perfect for our group because he has a lot of local connections that other guides don’t have and could get us to the important sites efficiently....which is critically important in a place like Bethlehem. Ashraf is extremely knowledgeable and was very engaging. He taught me a lot about Bethlehem, some of the foundation myths surrounding Christ’s birth, as well as the local situation in Palestine, etc. He brought us to a shop with reasonable prices and where they let you shop with shop staff only on hand to answer questions. The stop for lunch was likewise terrific. Very good grilled meats and hummus. If you want to visit Bethlehem, definitely recommend Abraham Tours and Ashraf!

I booked this through an intermediary (Viator) and somehow when booking it I booked a private tour. Private tours are usually hundreds of $/£ and I don’t really like them anyway but this one worked out to be just fabulous. Our guide was knowledgeable and got us into places that we wouldn’t have alone or in a group. He sweet talked guards to let us in the back way to avoid lines, snuck us in parking spaces and treated us to falafel. The itinerary was...

    - Church of the Nativity
    - Milk Grotto
    - Shepherd's Sanctuary
    - The Walled Off Hotel
    - Olive wood factory and shop. While I'm dubious the items sold are really from the workshop next door the owners were lovely, the items reasonable and varied. There was no pressure to buy anything but we really wanted to. We got some lovely bits and pieces for us and gifts.

The whole morning was filled with caves, ancient history, churches and a lot of fun. Both the taxi driver who ferried us too and from our hotel to Palestine and the guide were so full of knowledge and their English was great. There was no pressure to tip either one although we wanted to.

I really was thrilled with this tour and would definitely recommend it.

Myself and my friend took the Ramallah and Bethlehem day tour. Firstly, following our late booking the night before the tour which turned out to be to late, Green Olive kindly offered to organise a private tour for the following day, which they did not have to.

Anas, our guide was extremely knowledgable about the history of the Palestine and the specifics of the legal and cultural situations on the ground, it was great to hear about the Israel-Palestine situation from a Palestinian perspective.

Anas was also extremely personable, despite the tour lasting from about 08:30-15:30 (I believe this would have usually ran longer however it was Eid on the day of our tour meaning that roads were less busy) there was never a lull in conversation, Anas took us to a great shawarma spot in Bethlehem away from the touristy area, after asking us what we would like to eat, and provided us with water on a hot day.

I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Hazem is a very good Englishspeaker und knows absolutely EVERYTHING about his hometown Bethlehem. What ever you wanna know - ask him and you will get a very interesting answer. He really knows every single stone of this town and can tell you many local but also historic stories. He has an impressive network in Bethlehem which offers you the possibility to see special places. (For example: We‘ve been to a store for olivewood close to the nativity church. This store has a really nice rooftop for an amazing view about Bethlehems old town Centre.) Extra plus: He is a very smart and openminded guy, with the right sense of humor. We won‘t forget our time in Bethlehem. Thank you so much, Hazem!

We booked a trip with Dani based off finding him online and we are glad we decided to make the trip with him.

He picked us up from the bus station and proved to be a friendly bubbly and knowledgeable guide.

Hebron was an eye opening experience and we were very glad we went and got to see what people are experiencing day to day. We won't spoil it but if you have the time definitely go check it out with Dani.

We loved the little touches with the food stops and would highly recommend his service to others.

For what you pay vs doing a group tour with lots of people it's a no brainer to book a private tour with this great guide!

Tour operator Gadi was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and accommodating throughout our private tour. His knowledge of Jerusalem was exceptional and his way of incorporating many viewpoints/religions/cultures was very respectful and greatly appreciated. He knew just how to go through Jerusalem to see the most, with short cuts and special side trips. Our driver was also accommodating even stopping and getting us umbrellas when it threatened rain. He dropped Gadi off and took us to meet our guide Saed in Bethlehem and then returned us to Gadi afterwards. He knew how to avoid traffic well on our return home. Saed was also friendly and knowledgeable and helped us obtain a particular souvenir we were looking for in Bethlehem.

I would like to thank this company for making our experience in Israel and Palestine so incredible. We had 3 private tours in Jerusalem (Yahav guide), Bethlehem (Mustafa guide) and Jericho (Mohammad guide), and each day was enlightening and unforgettable. All guides had great knowledge on the history, culture and monuments of each place, and we enjoyed every minute.

Thanks to Jehanne also for organizing the tours for us.

I have traveled all over the world and have to say that the day my husband and I spent with Michael was one of the most memorable, informative, and enjoyable days of my life. Michael has an encylopedic level of knowledge about the region's history and of the evolution of the various religions (and by extension, politics) of the region and we learned so much. He let us customize our tour by swapping out Mar Saba (which I can't go in anyway because I'm female) for Hisham's Palace, and I am so glad we did that. The mosaic remains at Hisham's Palace are incredible and unlike anything I've seen anywhere else. (We did still stop by to see the outside of Mar Saba so I don't feel like we gave anything up to do that!).

Michael was so open to all of our questions and is just a kind, open-hearted person whose company we genuinely enjoyed. My husband is hard to wow, and he was wowed by our day with Michael.

Michael, wishing you all the best with your wedding and hope your honeymoon is wonderful!
