It is most difficult to imagine. The main reason are for the sites - I don’t have any god or religion yet it was very interesting to discover such places. The guide was very nice, not pushy, with a great sense of humor. The Dead Sea was also something to experience. I took the tour when there were some “tensions” but I always felt safe with Yoav. - bernard10Scotland31 contributionsThis tour was definitely well worth doing. Our tour guide Ryan was so nice and extremely knowledgeable. You could see it wasn't just a job to him. We were taken to Bethlehem first to see all the sights. The Church of the Nativity was amazing in particular. I have difficulty walking but Ryan was excellent at pacing the tour. After lunch we went to Jerusalem and that was even more amazing . The Church of the Sepulchre was the highlight for me here. I took so many pics and had to go over them the next day to refresh my memory of what we had seen. Once again I can't praise Ryan enough. The next day we were also booked on another tour of Nazareth and Capernium but unfortunately we were switched buses and although it was good too, we missed Ryan. Our tour guide in Bethlehem, Abood aka ‘Uncle Abood’ was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited.
Raed or Raza (Sp?) our driver was also very professional and explained all we needed to know to enjoy our day.
Highly recommend.

Value for the money was good.
Apart from the visits to the grotto, churches, shepherds fields and the fences, we were treated with local delicacies. This was not at a store, so it we did not experience a dressed up sales event but rather an exchange of cultures.
Yes, the tour ended at a local souvenir shop of the community, but this was limited to just 20 minutes with no pressure at all. And to our suprise at the end of the tour there wasn't even an opportunity to leave a tip.

He took us to a store in the Palestinian Territory in Bethlehem that was operated by Christians who we were told were a minority in the Palestinian Territory. Israeli citizens are typically not permitted to enter the area so it is predominantly Muslim. We felt perfectly safe and this isn’t a commentary on anything other than the makeup of the community which I really had never considered. He took us to the church of the Nativity. It was incredible. They have an open area where you can see the original floor from nearly 2000 years ago. You can also stand in a line to see where it is thought that Jesus was born. We got extremely fortunate and Avi was able to get our small group in through a back door.
Next we gleefully headed back to Jerusalem. We toured Mount Olive and learned the interesting history there.
We finished up in the Old City.
We saw the Western Wall. I have mobility issues and use an electric mobility scooter. If I hadn’t had those issues we would have gone to touch it.
We were shown the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where it is thought that Jesus was crucified. The tour there was interesting.
We had a nice lunch. There were certainly lots of shops in the Old City. It was an experience. Bring shekels.
We saw the Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Armenian Quarters in the old city. It was interesting.
Avi was full of information and very willing to accommodate my abilities. I highly recommend his tour. He has a very good van which is clean. He was a very conscientious driver. Very affable and could strike up a conversation with anyone. We tasted falafels, hummus, zaatar, sweets and jericho bananas.

My driver was Ziad and he ended up being so helpful and friendly! Telling me about so much about the areas and even taking me to the Baptism site for Jesus on the Jordan and showed me a little of Jericho on the way to pick up the others who had done that tour.
