However, we expected a longer cruise (it was only 1.5 hours vs the advertised 2 hours), as well as more commentary on the sights. It was also a bit difficult to understand because the speakers inside were loud and the sound was fuzzy. Very reliable, nice vehicles, easy to book and great communication. Also paying a fixed price in Euros to the driver keeps things simple. Our guide, Ismael Mert, was THE best guide we had in Turkey, and among the best guides we have had in all our world travels. He provided exactly the right amount of context for everything we saw, was patient with our questions, and kept us on schedule so that we could appreciate everything. He was extremely knowledgable about history. It was really well organized, from the hotel pick up, to the commentary on board, the stop at the Asian side of Istanbul for great tasting yoghurt with honey, to the drop off at our preferred location. The guide who gave the commentary on board had a great sense of humor and made the cruise fun. The crew received us in the pier and started just after everyone were joined together. Inside they offer snacks, fruits, and of course, tea!
