A short ferry ride away and I found myself in Kadiköy Market where I happily explored the shops selling products vital for use in Turkish cuisine.
... you get off the ferry just head across the square and it will right in front of you.....nice market stalls with fresh produce....lots of eateries, especially the tradesman's restaurants where you can eat good f...

We love the Grand Bazaar, and always visit; however, the Arasta is so easy to access, easy to maneuver, has wonderful shops featuring beautiful items of all kinds, and wonderful shopkeepers.
Shops offering variety of Turkish products, souvenirs, carpets, a photo studio with traditional dress shoot for tourists, cafes and friendly, smiling shops keepers, all this to enrich the Istanbul experience that...

We found the atmosphere and variety of food and products more appealing than the Grand Bazaar and it is also in one of the most historic areas of Istanbul close to the bosphorus, tram and Big Bus water boat tours.

The closest metro station that is 10 minutes walk is Acibadem OR you can taxi to Akasaya mall and there are esigns on the streets pointing to Sali Bazaar.
How can you go ?? If you are in Eminonu you can cross the Asian side by boat by taking Metro and getting to the stop Acibadem.

We walked from our hotel which was a nice walk, this bazaar is on the way to Grand Bazaar and in my opinion has a lot more variety and prices are very reasonable.
On one of my last trips to Istanbul I was strolling around the Grand Bazaar when I arrived at an exit named Mustafa Paşa.
