- TheOExpress🏴🇭🇰Hong Kong, China4,248 contributions…but lots of the museum’s structure itself is in quite poor repair, so I hope those $10 entry fees are going towards some much needed upkeep. Maybe properly stocking the gift shop/cafe might help with this. Still, it’s definitely worth visiting because some of the sculptures are truly magnificent and there are LOADS of them to behold. - PoipuJim50 contributionsI wandered through the Russian Market to see how average folks shop in Phnom Penh. I love these markets in SE Asia. Here they sell almost everything, and it is an excellent place to just watch people. My guide and I enjoyed a stir fry lunch and ice coffee at a little food stand in the market ...... lunch for two was $5. The great thing about Cambodia is that everybody/everyplace accepts USD, so no currency conversions are necessary. - Pietro MPhnom Penh, Cambodia110 contributionsKept seeing Samai pop up on recommendations for nightlife and wasn't sure if the Thursday only thing was because of Covid or something else. Think it's mainly just so that they focus on the actual business side of things a full 6 days.
They do offer tours of the distillery but when we got there (around 8:30) I'm pretty sure it wasn't available to go on at that point.
Either way the section that is open is a really neat space with the rum barrels hanging on one side and the bar on the other. I had ordered two mixed rum drinks that were both very good; one was a rum and coke type of drink called 21 Points and the other was a sweet and sour drink called Passionate Distillers.
Crowd seems to skew more young working professionals, but also saw a decent mix of Western expats, Western and Eastern tourists and some Cambodians as well.

- Kin1 contributionWe got in touch with Khen through WhatsApp and he was able to help us with organizing our pickup from Phnom Penh airport to the hotel, from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville and from there to Siam Reap. Our trip consisted of three different drivers who were all professional, showed up on time and were friendly. Having Khen take care of our transfers made our travel more relaxing and we would definitely recommend Cambodia Private Taxi to others.
