- Dawn M5 contributionsExcellent evening. We attended in time for the most amazing sunset over the city. Cocktails were superb. The staff, especially Sophae, were very attentive and made our visit extra special. We were on our honeymoon, and Sophae made sure we had a truly romantic time. He was careful to take, getting the best light, etc, the most wonderful photos of my husband and I, we will treasure these photos forever.

Nice guys own it, beers are great, welcoming atmosphere and you should definitely try their guava cocktails! - Arthur F1 contributionThe rooftop pool and bar was out of this world. Our bartender Chea was amazing! He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. He made us fantastic Piña Coladas and suggested an amazing Chef's choice fruit platter which was absolutely delicious. They did also a drag show (that here means some l’ho syncing), but all the performer where quite good and involving. We had a look at places we could visit in the evening and we fancied trying the Elephant Bar. As luck would have it there was 40% discount for the "Happy Hour'. I had a gin slings and my wife had a magnificent gin and tonic.
A really fabulous location, the hotel and grounds are maintained to perfection. On leaving we foot talking to Piseth Aom, who was part of the bar management team. We had a small talk on all the gins they use in their cocktails. He was politeness personified.

The atmosphere is electric, making it easy to meet new friends while enjoying outstanding cocktails. The music selection is on point, keeping the energy high all night long. - Paul AnsellLondon, UK18 contributionsWe visited the Big Easy in Phnom Penh in September and October 2019. The Bar was very friendly drinks cheap and the food very good and clean kitchen. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We watched the Rugby World Cup here and Jack one of the owners reserved seating for us and my partner also was invited to play football with the lads, including Pete and Tom. Friday and Saturday have an $8 cover charge. Seems to have more men than ladies on Friday and Saturday. So the other days are better. DJ was very good. Kept the atmosphere lively. Drink prices are reasonable. - Simon BBudapest, Hungary14 contributionsFantastic. I was only in the city for a few days but we went twice and it rapidly became like a local. marvellously welcoming by the owner and his boys. They were lovely to talk and interact to and although the bar is small (very small!) they put on a great drag show -small scale but with very dynamic performers. There was also some podium dancing which was clearly far more comfortable for some boys than others...Actually met and struck up a friendship with some one there. Good drinks but reckon it can get very crowded so choose when you go. Owner was excellent and cl/early runs a very good, tight but welcoming ship. - Collier YKuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia18 contributionsGenerally, Phnom Penh is still very much a smoking city. Mao/s Bar has probably the highest ceiling amongst all bars in Phnom Penh and it real helps to ease the smokes especially for the non smoker.
It does provide some ladies to have a drink with you if you need one but rest assured they will never disturb you unrequested... unlike most other bars.
