Worthwhile, affordable experience. A series of short stories are portrayed using unique puppetry performed by a team who masterfully control their puppets while waist-deep in a stage of water. Accompanied by traditional Vietnamese music and narrated in Vietnamese. While it was thoroughly enjoyable and educational, don’t expect to understand the narrative even if you purchase the additional translation service.

Great show for sure. The music and puppetry were well choreographed and it was truly an enjoyable evening. My 6 year old was in a virtual trance from beginning to end.

We took a 1 night cruise in Halong Bay on a 5 star Cruise, which was perfect. The cruise stops at the major points of interest through the day which is great. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the boat is luxurious and the cabins are comfortable. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a premium cabin which was a lovely gesture as the Corona virus had reduced the number of tourists.
There were lots of activities to fill in the time, it would have been nice to go on the trip when it was warmer to enjoy the swimming.
Fun excursions and time to relax along with incredible food and service. Don’t miss this one!

The show was good, but our tour guide was great! I forgot his name, but he was a young college student who wore glasses. Very Nice and humble young man. Best wishes and may good things come in all that you do.

Hanoi Old Quarter is very busy and chaotic. So if you are walking there please mind that you are walking in one of the most dangerous areas you can choose as nearly all pavement areas had been blocked by parking scooters. With this in mind you can enjoy the picturesque and beautiful chaos. Try some food from the local street food dealers or check out one of the many western cafes and restaurants. For excursions I would recommend the 2 hours rickshaw tour as you will be directly in the street life. Your rickshaw driver will stop at the most interesting spots or on demand. Enjoy 😊

Very nice show. Ticket delivered ok. But show was cancelled. And attendance of another show was obstructed but eventually granted for s different time. And the extra paid for seats were not granted. A bit of hassle but not too bad. Cheers Andrea and Robert

Booking was a breeze, the show began on time. This is the first water puppet show we saw and we liked it. It was in Vietnamese but the large screens had the story in English and French and so was able to follow

Good experience with booking water puppet show tickets via Tripadvisor. Daisy on the support coordinated the delivery and the show is very enjoyable - something culturally unique.

We bought the tickets for Thang Long which has the better reviews. A couple of days later, a representative messaged me privately on Whatsapp saying that its fully booked and would promised me a deluxe upgrade to Lotus theatre. Despite me asking multiple times and it dragged for days until the last few hours before show started, this person finally sent me an eticket. Guess what? We were seated on the third row from the back.

This show has been cancelled until at least March 18th, even though the website will still sell you a ticket. Lovely people at the Opera House called my immediately to tell me and apologize for the inconvenience. I hear it’s quite spectacular.
