We had many encounters with this scenic lake. We hiked around and above it. We strolled and dined at the lakeside. Hiked down from the Peace Pagoda to boat area and enjoyed the small boat ride across the lake and by the temple . The lake is beautiful and avails itself to many forms of exploration.

Excellent sunrise view from top of Sarangkot. Good view of Annappurna and Machapuchare Mountains. Got to see the town from top of the place. Windy place to visit at early morning.

Wonderful visit of this Pagoda. Mesmerising scenic beauty . Only tough for the senior citizen to reach this Pagoda by getting up approx 350 steps. But reaching there soul and mind got such a peace which is undescribeable. Life became blessed by Lord Buddha.

It was worth it but if you have more days continue to abc camp or anapurna circus

They would not allow us to walk the wrong way when there were many tourists in the basement. The basement had the best displays, and the exhibits had numbers so we could walk in an orderly fashion. Walking first in the basement made sense. Also, one display requires taking off your shoes, but there was no place to sit down to do it. Not everyone wears slip-ons. Overall, the experience was great.

I did Annapurna base camp trek from 27 Feb to 4 Mar (including orine rest day that I requested). As a first time trekker, ABC trek is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It allowed me to immerse myself in the scenic nature and enjoy every passing moment.

The trek is not only getting to the famed Annapurna base camp’s signpost. The magnificent mountains, gorgeous valleys, colorful villages, bird’s chirping, clean air, combine to form a satisfying sensory experiences. Life in the mountain villages is characterized by simplicity and modesty. The journey itself is always more than its destination.

We visited this place during the Aarti time in the evening. The temple was resounding with the chants of
    Om Namah Shivaya 🙏
The gufa had about 450 steps to go down to the caves.
Nearby there is Tibetan handicrafts cente, from where you can buy your souvenirs and outside there are stalls selling Tea/ Coffee & Snacks.

Annapurna Trek and some local sites guided by Durga who was so knowledgeable about her country and the treks. It was an awesome experience and hoping to go back again. Learned about the culture, the environment, and the terrain while trekking with Durga who is always smiling, patient, and great company!
