I can 100% recommend this tour. From start to finish the whole process was incredibly smooth, organised and well run by Olivier, with prompt and clear communication. Everything was sorted for us, including lunch. All we had to do was be outside our hotel at 0500! Our guide Anaclet was truly brilliant - he was excellent company and really knowledgeable about all the wildlife and the history of the park. We really did have the best day and an unforgettable time.

All wild animals can be seen here. Nice experience. Would highly recommend if you are a wildlife lover. Especially if your also interested in the boat safari.

I rated the trip 4/5 only because we didn't get to see the majestic Cat - the Lions. We however did see 3 out of the big 5 all thanks to our awesome Tour guide Yvan who was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. The breakfast and packed lunch was refreshing and Yvan also provided some tips with respect to how to dress for the game drive. It would have been a 5/5 but for the fact that the tour promised 4.30am to 6.30pm as duration for the tour but we didn't return from Akagera until past 9pm. I would recommend Silverbird for anyone visiting Akagera with the caveat that the guide be asked to leave the park earlier than the 5.30pm we left since it takes about 4hrs to drive back to Kigali

I am a huge coffee fan and this day trip helped me to learn a lot about the very long process that is required to fuel my mornings. The farm is about 2 hours outside Kigali, and I had a great conversation with the tour guide, Smayah, as we drove. She developed the tour and her story was inspiring. The coffee cherries are processed March through June, but I didn't feel like anything was missing for my visit in January. The tour includes a coffee or espresso before you leave and a 250g bag of beans when you finish (I bought more!) A great day, well worth the money.

George is the best guide. He knew the answer to every question I had and was able to show me so many animals. Incredible experience and George made it that much better.

I took this tour as I just moved to Kigali and wanted to get an overview of the town and various neighborhoods.

This tour provided just this. My guide Emmanuel was extremely helpful and patient with my endless questions about Kigali and Rwanda. He provided great information on the history of the country and city, but also was very helpful in showing me how things 'work' in Kigali - eg how to use mobile money, book a taxi, what various neighborhoods were like, etc. - eg requests beyond what the tour required.

However, if you are just here as a tourist and are familiar with other African countries, you might not need a full day tour. You might do the 1/2 day instead.

The restaurant we went to for lunch was fine, but a bit random...There must be places for lunch with a nice view, or something a bit more interesting...

I had an amazing experience with this tour. My tour guide was Shadddy. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I enjoyed the information he shared about the different places and food products we encountered on our journey to the lake. Though it was a long 4+ hour drive with traffic here and there, I enjoyed the experience of getting to see more than Kigali. The experience on Lake Kivu was awesome. My favorite part was watching the tour guide hand pieces of a banana to a monkey. It was a great experience. Well worth it!

Question coffee is a game changer in coffee industry in Rwanda. As a Rwandan I had a chance to be part of coffee master class lead by Sumaya. This was one the best experience I have ever had in 2019. I was able to learn a lot on coffee making and tasting. The instructor was very friendly, experienced in coffee and really take her time to make sure that all the participants get the best experience. I will do this again and again.

Just returned from one day overnight Gorilla trek in Volcano Mountains Rwanda! It is truly amazing. It is expensive but please know that the money goes into protecting these amazing animals and to increase their habitat which sadly, is decreasing! I highly suggest using Uber Luxe safari. They are true professionals and you will not be disappointed! It really is a trip of a lifetime and if you will not regret it!

My husband and I just had the best guide and driver ever, and since we do a lot of traveling, we have booked lots of tour companies. Eric was our Go Kigali Tours guide and he was the most helpful, sociable and kind person. The airline lost my luggage the day before which meant I didn’t have appropriate footwear to hike to see the mountain gorillas, nor the recommended rain coat or even suntan lotion or mosquito spray. The airline had no idea if my luggage would be found so I asked Eric if during the city tour he could take us to some stores. He was so accommodating and also took care of getting us a SIM card. We can’t thank him enough.
The tour itself was great. The driver, who goes by the name No. 8 (because he is the eighth child in his family), negotiated the busy, narrow streets with care and waited patiently for us as we shopped.
We had booked a private tour so it could be customized. Highlights included the Mount Kigali viewpoint, the Question coffee shop (which buys its coffee beans from female farmers), and all the fabulous restaurant and food stops. We enjoyed a snack of the best samosas we have ever had and a lunch consisting of authentic Kigali food including a delicious green banana dish.
It was a great first day in Kigali after a terrible night of waiting at the baggage carousel for over an hour only to discover my luggage wasn’t on board the plane!

We had the most remarkable tour with Wild Hikes Rwanda. Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that our guide truly cared about us, i highly recommend this Tour if you want to know the story of this beautiful country.

I am not sure if I had one favorite part of this trip. Rwanda is beautiful. Judith Safaris was professional and easy to work with. My tour guide, Joana was like family. The Memorial was sad but a tribute to those who lost their lives and, the future of a nation. I did not stay long enough. I plan to return and I plan to arrange my trip with Judith Safaris.
