We learned so much about the rich history and culture of Ethiopia, and we even got to try traditional Ethiopian cuisine! - tztoyIsrael94 contributionsWent on 2 tours with ETT (Danakil will be reviewed separately). the day tour to Debre Libanos was amazing, with numerous Gelada monkeys to add to the miraculous experience. my guide was Haben (+251934824414 ). An amazing, funny guide, passionate about his country and a steady hand to use, when walking down the slippery Portuguese bridge :)
It was a great and ease start to my travelling in Ethiopia.

The market was very interesting and I felt safe the entire time. Tea was delicious. The coffee ceremony and lunch was a beautiful experience. I was treated like family by our host. Such a warm and kind person. Biruk made a great tour. He was very sensitive to my interests and what I wanted to see and do. This is a great excursion. This is a must do when you come to Ethiopia if you want to experience the nightlife safely! Nothing but the most friendliest opening and welcoming environments and gives you a glimpse in an average nightlife of the Ethiopian people! The cultural dancing is amazing and gives you a glimpse of the different tribes and styles That makes Ethiopia a beautiful melting pot of culture! I can’t wait to come back to Ethiopia and do this Specific tour again. I will book this trip every time and you will wish you booked it for every night! I had one of the best guides and Ethiopia!! This tour lasted 6.5 hours and I got to see many highlights of Addis. Desale and the driver were always looking out for me to be safe and comfortable. It was rainy in the early afternoon so did not get to see much of the Mercato. I would suggest to the tour company that they indicate that not much is open at the Mercato on a Sunday, and especially if it is raining, consider integrating a second museum into the itinerary.
