Since I was a kid more than a half century ago, I wanted to see Victoria Falls. I finally did, and I was not disappointed. The national park on the Zimbabwe side has a cliff top trail that provides plenty of spectacular viewing opportunities for the falls and its many components. The immensity of the falls is so,etching that needs to be experienced first hand. A poncho is a must unless you want to get completely soaked to the skin (not necessarily a bad thing if it is very hot). There was a fair bit of natural shade available, and it wasn’t particularly hot when we were there. This is a sight that definitely should not be missed.

We saw the magnificent Victoria falls from Zambia, as wellas Zimbabwe side. Plan your visit on Full moon day - especially May / June when you can see the rare Moon ( Lunar ) bow over the falls. Also if you like some thrill, take microlite flight over Victoria falls - amazing view of moving rainbow 🌈 from microlite & helicopter. Also try day trip to Chobe National park from Zimbabwe side.

This bridge built in 1904 is worth a visit. It is 128m high with a great view. The bungee jump is 111m . Remember to get your gate pass from the border officials.

It was an incredible experience being so up close to the elephants and interacting with them in their natural environment. The staff demonstrated a genuine love for their elephants and were extremely attentive.

Several shops, some very good quality and price to match, others more average. Go take a stroll and see for yourself, and then decide at the end what to buy- if any. It also has an antique store and a good art gallery.

Definitely worth a visit - the guide was so knowledgeable about the snakes. We didn't hold any because that was a step too far for us.

We used Off to Africa for our holiday to Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park, and Chloe organised it all for us. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We were picked up at Victoria Falls Airport and transported to Victoria Fall Safari Lodge for our stay there. The hotel was fabulous. Chloe also organised our helicopter trip over the falls, and once again the organisation was brilliant. When it was time for us to move to Botswana for our safari, we were collected from the hotel, helped across the border, and introduced to our Botswana driver. All our game drives were included, and were amazing. Chloe organised the time fro us to leave our hotel to get back across the border to Victoria Falls Airport in good time for our flight home. She also put up with numerous queries from me prior to the holiday, and always answered fully. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

We did several parks/reserves in Southern Africa over our month long holiday. This gave us the greatest variety of sightings including lions and cubs with a fresh kill, a leopard, genet and other rare animals along with all the usual culprits…. Many giraffes and antelopes of various species, baboons, hippos, crocodiles etc, etc. We did two night drives including dinner in the bush. We had only intended to do one but as we enjoyed it so much we rebooked. The dinner in the bush is great hearing elephants, lions, etc around you and the quality of the food and wine is excellent. You also stop for snacks and sundowners overlooking a lake which is a delightful stop. Having read so many forum posts over the years saying don’t bother seeing wildlife here, we definitely have to disagree. It was fabulous. The rangers have many years experience and are determined that you should see everything and going off track is routine to get as close as is safe to predators. Wouldn’t hesitate to do again.
