We also did a tasting tour on the second day that involved stopping at many local shops and tasting the amazing cuisines of Fes! Chakib was born and grew up in the Medina and literally everyone knows him there.

The owner was amazing, he showed us a lot of rugs and told us about the history and the symbolism of different Berber and Berber-Jewish tribes in Morocco of both the rugs the other things in the store.
I went there, firstly the owner was really kind with me, showing us his great shop, on three floor, there you can find any artisanal morocchean stuff at the best price, much less than in Médina for Great quality.

He picked the nicest venues for us to stay in, facilitated great lunches and souvenir shopping, and helped to accommodate my sister's vegetarianism throughout the trip.

Full of really high quality, lovely and original Moroccan gifts, clothes, photos, leather handbags etc.... very different to anything else we had seen in the souks of Morocco.
If you are looking for quality items for yourself or for gifts, this is a wonderful shop that represents artisans from all over Morocco.

The work is beautiful, and tile, and objects made with the tile, can be purchased at the studio shop, or you can custom order tile for your project that will be shipped to your home or business.
We found a bowl that we liked and made our purchase, which they wrapped in foam so that we could carry through the rest of our trip and on the plane home.

Their selection is amazing and the types of pieces that they have at their shop are some of the most unique we saw on our trip to Morocco.
Ibrahim and Abdul made shopping for rugs and goods fun.

They seem to stock only antique, handmade rugs, some of which are 60-70 years old (like the one we bought) and made by local Berber people.
We randomly stumbled across Idriss shop amongst the alleyways of Fez.
