Arriving at the National Park Service Information Center and of course spending some time in the gift shop, I was hesitant to dedicate more shopping time to the off-in-the-distance Volcano Art Center.
Cool shop near the visitor center that has some really amazing artwork.

It’s gorgeous from one end to the other, filled with activities, dining and shopping options and tons of room to get as much (or as little) exercise as you want.
Its had major shopping complexs almost adjacent to one another with excellent dining and some upscale shopping (e.g., Tiffany's).

Add in nice trinket shopping, beautiful garden, covered eating areas and live music and it's tourist trap done right!! We're going back on our return trip to Kona!!
Great atmosphere for lunch, coffee, and excellent food as well as a nice little gift shop, but be forewarned it is a little crowded, though they get people in and out quickly.
