My mom has been a longtime fan of his work so we reached out to Walter to see if we could stop by one Sunday afternoon. He and his partner welcomed us into their home and he showed us his studio and elaborated on his creative process, shedding light into his wondrous mind and how his artistic style has evolved over the years. We truly enjoyed our time. They even took the time to show my son the animals in the yard and gave us eggs from the chickens. Was a Sunday afternoon well spent! We were on the fence as we had already done a lot in town, however, so glad we decided to add one more stop in our day. AJAW chocolates provides a great deal of history and hands on experience that will engage anyone. I have a new appreciation for chocolate, it’s history in Mayan culture, and the people who grow and harvest the beans! - Bart T5 contributionsWe booked Belize Ground Shuttle for our round trip between Belize City and San Ignacio based on Trip Advisor reviews! This was a great decision! Belize Ground Shuttles provided us with excellent on-time service for our party of 4! The shuttle was new and very clean. Avram, our driver was friendly. He safely drove us to San Ignacio and back again three days later. The van air conditioning worked well and we were provided with cold water. My wife and I had a a couples massage at Flor's Magic Touch on January 26 with Flor and Willie and were very impressed by their expertise. These are true professionals who know how to relieve the soreness we had after lots of hiking and adventure activities around San Ignacio. Prices are very reasonable. - JfowlDallas, TX31 contributionsBrian with BeeGeez was great! We were a group of 14 with young children staying at Sweet Songs in San Ignacio. He came to pick us up and take us around for the morning (his car accommodated 6-7 and he brought his friend Ron (equally great) that accommodated the rest of us in a van. We went to the X ruins, out to a great lunch (Brian recommended them and let them know to set a table up for us), and some of us went to the Iguana conservatory. He was super affordable, responsive and reliable. It was so much better than taking a huge organized tour to have a driver take us around. He made sure the store felt clean and safe and it seems he puts a lot of great thought into what he sells. We got a cake server that will bring back memories every time we use it, and pizza cutter with a gorgeous wood handle.
