Love the knowledge of our guide Juan Pablo. We felt safe, but adventurous. Meal was good. The stop we made to get snacks was nice.

We did 2 tours with Cayo Inland - whole day Caracol and half day Xunantunich. It was super easy to setup the tour over WhatsApp with John Paul. Our guide for the 2 days was Dimas - a good guide, a good human being. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and generally a good person to hang out with for the 2 days. He knows a lot about the Mayan ruins, culture and the neighboring area. ASK FOR DIMAS.

The whole day was expected to be a great one but exceeded all expectations. We had the chance to have the car and driver just for the two of us. The driver was an extremely knowledgable person, on everything, flora, fauna, politics and, of course history. But not just what he could have learned in the books or in a guide school: he took part in several campaigns of archaeological excavations on the site of Caracol, of which one of six months on the spot, and was able to give us exclusive explanations drawn from his personal experience. This visit was definitely one of the most pleasant and interesting of our three weeks in Central America.

We came during the off season (July) so it was just the two of us on the tour. We were picked up from our hotel in San Ignacio and driven to the ruins. Our Guide. Bemas (not sure on spelling) was awesome! This was our favorite tour of the trip purely because Bemas was so great. He was kind and welcoming. He also had extensive knowledge about the Mayans and the site. After the Mayan site we stopped at a local restaurant where we picked our lunch. I had the black soup which tasted exactly like chicken noodle soup. My boyfriend had a pork dish and said it was delicious. We then drove to the falls. It required bit of a hike down, there were some stairs, not too long of a walk but it was a bit of an exercise. Once there, Bemas gave us tips on how to swim closer to the waterfall. You are swimming against the current so be prepared. We had fun jumping off rocks and into the refreshing water. We were told we could stay as long as we wanted (probably since it was just the two of us) but once a large youth group showed up we decided it was time to leave. We still had a fun time swimming. Then we changed into dry clothes and were dropped off back at our hotel. It felt like a chill version of what we had already done, it's good for when you want something but not too much.

This is a fantastic ATV tour combining jungle trails with high speed sections! Andy was the best - keeping us in line and making the tour a great part of our trip! Narrowly missed running over a boa…

I highly recommend Paradise Expeditions, a family-owned business in Belize.
Jeronie Tut planned an excellent one-week birding itinerary for a friend and me.
We visited a number of key spots in Belize including the Crooked Tree Wildlife
Sanctuary and Caracol National Monument. Our guide, Jeronie’s brother, Eric, is
an expert on the birds of Belize and can identify everything by sight and sound.
He made sure that we also observed the birds. Eric was good company and
informative about other wildlife, native plants, local culture, and the status of
conservation in his country.  Jeronie also arranged for a knowledgeable
archaeological guide, Mariela, to lead us through the incredible ruins in Tikal
National Park in nearby Guatemala. Accommodation and food were good,
including at the the family’s own lodge near San Ignacio.

A note: visitors to Tikal National Park in May should be prepared for hot
weather. Our night was also very warm as the national park requires all
electricity to be shut off by 9:00 p.m. We were “serenaded” by two clans of
howler monkeys throughout much of the night. The monkeys are misnamed as
    they roar not howl.

Augusto and his brother Damien were very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Augusto took us to the Caracol Maya ruins. He managed the drive on the challenging road with ease and even spotted a number of wildlife on the way. We were lucky enough to see Scarlet Macaws, Crested Guans, a crocodile and howler monkeys along the road. Augusto filled us with facts and information on the Mayan civilization as we toured through the massive ruins at Caracol. Along the journey Augusto answered our many questions on Belize in general.

Damien was our driver and guide to Barton Creek Cave via a traditional Mennonite village. The canoe trip into the cave was interesting learning about the Mayan rituals performed for the underworld gods. Damien was well organized with all the equipment needed for the excursion in the canoe.

All in all touring with this company is highly recommended.

Andy with Hunab-Ku adventures gave us a core memory day of our lives! We were a group of six...mom and dad almost 50 and four teens 18, 18, 16, and 14. I was a little nervous but the instruction and leadership, care for safety and constant check ins by Andy made the day an adventure I will never forget! The equipment was in perfect condition, we had zero problems with the bikes. One of our crew is very petite and she was able to handle her bike just fine! The terrain was muddy and I've never had so much fun getting filthy in my life! The waterfall dip was relaxing and lovely. Don't miss this trip, it was a heart pounding adventure. Watch your step hiking down to the falls, that's a slippery slide, lol.

Marvin was an amazing, thoughtful, kind, highly knowledgeable, and respectful guide. We always felt safe and were given the latitude to have him conduct the tour to our timeframe and desires.

The MPR tour with BCE was excellent. Gave us the right info, picked us up on time, very friendly driver and guide, took us to different spots (rio frio caves, rio pools, big rock waterfalls) providing lots of information and answering questions followed by a sumptuous lunch. We had lots of time at each location. Very happy with the overall experience, no surprises and exceeded expectations

We researched several options and went with Cayo Inland Expeditions for our group tours to Xunantunich and cave tubing. Our guides were fantastic - Jeremy led our Xunantunich group while Dimas and Josh led the cave tubing. Outstanding service and knowledge. We will use them again!
