Really enjoyed this very interesting tour of the building. I would highly recommend it. Got a guided tour and we were able to go into the house too.

Free event (tickets obtained online). Wonderful family-friendly event that gives the viewer a chance to see Marines performing and see the Silent Drill Team.

This was a fun indoor/outdoor market with everything from food vendors to artisans. We picked up supplies of bread, meats and cheese to take for a picnic. Seems like a real gem in a beautiful neighborhood.

Visited in Jan 2020. It sounds like a large portion of the museum are being renovated so only one main room was open to tour. Still, it was interesting to learn about how it was built and see a select number of very old Shakespeare items.

More than the building and Foundation, I attended mainly to see “The Merry Wives of Windsor,”’which was produced with great comedy and and setting in the 1970s. A very memorable night. It is playing through Feb 2020.

Easy to walk to from the subway.

Beautiful building near The White House. Although during Sep 2023 quite a large chunk of it was being renovated and covered up. Although the front part of the building and main signage was still visible

It was an interesting experience visiting Chinatown in Washington DC and experiencing something a bit different than what we normally see/experience

I wasn't sure what to expect, but booked a Sunday 1 pm tour, paid $5 online and took my chances. I don't usually enjoy guided tours, but was delighted by Hoff's very personal walk around the cemetery. He shared history, personal reflections and interesting perspectives as we walked under the snowing cherry trees. It was a chance to reflect on life's seasons and a very unexpected oasis in the city. I hlghly recommend a visit. And bring a picnic.

I came to this venue on a whim after seeing an ad for a show that was being put on by the Mosaic Theater Company. Not only did I love the building--I found the location to be perfect for small, intimate performances--but I left in awe of how good the show was. My only "complaint" is that I cannot come regularly as I don't live in Washington.

A lovely place but not much to do. Have your expectation low and you'll find it interesting. Must be more beautiful in warmer seasons.

In DC for Valentine's Weekend; what a light-hearted show!

Unlike many Shakespeare performances set in old English, with similar costumes, this version was set in the hippie style of the 1970's. Oh, how perfect for us early baby-boomers - the music of our generation (and thank god I never dressed that way) that made a sleaze like Sir John Falstaff a sleaze thru the ages!

You all know the play, so instead let me mention how the actors / actresses at Folgers put on an excellent performance. Bravo & Huzzah!!

Our family loves escape rooms so we made a point to visit this one on a recent vacation to Washington, DC. Everything went smoothly. While groups of up to 10 are allowed per timeslot, we appreciated that we didn't have anyone added to our family of six. Our host was personable and helpful. The instructional/orientation videos were useful and well-done. This particular room set-up employed a variety of technologies which all worked flawlessly. The difficulty level seemed pretty reasonable to us. This would be a good place to visit for those who are curious about escape rooms and want to try one for themselves.

This is the headquarters of our national prosecution as well as related matters. While you might disgree with individual decisions, the employees are well trained and educated.

What a find and what an experience at this classic bar. We came early for dinner at the Lafayette and were sent here for a drink. Perfect martini, nice wine and nice little nuts etc to nibble on at every seat. A step back in time.

Came here most recently for the expo for the Army Ten Miler but have been here in the past when it held the expo for the 2014 Marine Corps Marathon.

Really pretty organized, even though there was a substantial line to get in because of bag checks. Inside, you made your way through vendors to get your race bib and in another spot your T-shirt.

The space inside felt a little cramped because of all the vendors but it was a pretty efficient process to get everything you needed and it was really convenient to be right on the Metro so I could just go from the airport to the expo.
