Loved our bus tour, our tour guide ( somehow I have forgotten his name but the driver that day was Antonio) was very knowledgeable and really brought you into the information by retelling some personal stories. At Mount Vernon we toured the grounds and the residence. At the residence/ gift shop we were able to choose from a few different venues for an appropriate and tasty bite to eat. Spacious area for eating where you can choose to eat on the patio or enclosed inside.

As for the tour content, no spoilers from us, but suffice to say that it was a very rich life, both professionally and privately. I think the reason Washington resonates with so many people around the world is that his biography appeals to our better nature. He was who we all wish we could be.

Despite several mishaps ( a broken boat and a missing coordinator and change of location and delays) my son,his fiancé and I all had a wonderful time. The team overcame all and really made it a great experience. Raymond although fairly new to tour guiding was 4 star one. He did a fantastic job for everyone in his care.

Today we went to George Washington's Mansion. I enjoyed it and want to go back. I want a more thorough house tour without as many people. The slavery tour was horrible. They were very critical of George Washington and seemed to hold him to today's standards. George Washington , although he was a slave holder fought for the freedoms that led to the abolishment of slavery. Slavery was bad and I enjoyed some of the stories but the lady leading our tour dishonored him and put almost no weight on the good things he did as the father of our nation. How utterly disrespectful!!!
Our cameras went dead. We were able to recharge just enough to get a couple pictures inside the house and it died again.
    We will go back again.

We were bused around to many of the great monuments while our guide, Sally, kept up a constant stream of information. My husband wasn't able to join us until we were at our first stop (they did their utmost best to get him on our tour) and parked near there. Godfrey, the driver, kindly took our family over to our parking spot afterward. Above and beyond! My whole family enjoyed the tour, and that's saying something! I was grateful to be able to see the various sights without having to walk it all, and the night views of many of the monuments were gorgeous. I also loved that this tour was offered during the evening when the museums were closed to maximize our time.

There is so much to see and do on this one day tour. I’d personally rather spend more time in the new Gettysburg visitor museum than go into the shops in town. Tour leader and bus driver were excellent. Amy did a great job of getting us there and back to the city.

Driver had tremendous knowledge of area. It was a rainy day so we did not explore Alexandria outside of the van. I doubt we would've had enough time to enjoy it. We could have spent the entire time at Mt. Vernon as history buffs. The museum is very thorough. He did tour around the outskirts of the national museum area to point out some of the less notable government buildings on our return trip.

Unfortunately meeting place is poorly marked. Checked in early for 10:30 tour and were put on the 11:00 tour in error. Enjoyed our tour but they didn’t figure out the error until our return from mount vernon. Tour we signed up for was more expensive and they offered us a do over the next day but we had commitments. Meetup signage must be improved!!!

When coming to a large historical city, there is always so much to absorb and experience.
Having someone with historic knowledge is a wonderful advantage.
My mother, brother, sister and I planned a trip to DC and was able to secure Alan Feldman as our tour guide.
Alan emailed an itinerary of what to expect prior to our tour, made sure we had everything outlined for our wishlist of things to see in our allowed time.
The tour was very interactive and Alan made us feel right at home.
My mother was in a wheelchair and the pace was pretty easy to accommodate maneuvering.
We toured Arlington, was able to pay respects to a friend recently laid to rest and catch the changing of the guard. Other stops were incorporated.
After returning to DC, we took a walking tour of the monuments.
The day was blustery but so beautiful.
Alan is a wealth of knowledge and his added stories of historical events brought everything to life and full circle.

    We highly recommend!

Christopher is wonderful! This is the second tour we did with him in our ten day vacation. Christopher has a love of history, learning those interesting facts and then sharing those with others. He took us to Arlington National Cemetery and had many interesting facts and stories. The tour included going into the Arlington Home and Memorial. Christopher had the timing just right for us to see the changing of the guards at the cemetery.

After leaving the cemetery, Christopher took us on a tour of the town of Alexandria. There were so many interesting facts that he shared. What a historical town.

He then took us to Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. You can tell that Christopher loves visiting here and told us great stories about this location.

I would highly recommend him for your future tours. He will even customize any DC tour to whatever you need.

Christopher even dropped us off at our next museum location for the day.

You will be very happy after you experience a day with Christopher.

We spent most of three days having Tom guide us around the Capitol. He was most accommodating and very knowledgeable about all of the sites. He recommended several that were terrific.

We saw the war memorials, Washington, Lincoln & MLK Memorials, Capitol, National Archives, Library of Congress, Arlington Cemetery, and spent a day at Gettysburg.

I would highly recommend Tom to make your trip to the nation’s capitol informative and meaningful. Five Stars.

Such a great service. Our entire day was magical. Fun and professional. Felt like a friend was at the wheel, not just someone we hired. Would book them again without hesitation and would absolutely recommend them to any one looking for tours of VA wine country!

Our guide was good with the information about Mount Vernon and the D.C. area, I could have done without his extra commentary about traffic and the protesters. Mount Vernon was worth the 1/2 day trip.
