Great overview of the must do sites in Washington. Well paced and we had a very informative guide with a great sense of humour.

Excellent tour, specifically because it was at night and it was so beautiful and the weather was perfect. Our tour guy Larry was awesome.

Great experience. It is a fast paced walking tour, so old folks like us struggle to keep up. Toward the end we completely lost sight of our guide and stood there waiting for him to come back and find us. Lol
Awesome tour rich in history. Once we were lost and the guide came back to find us, we opted to separate from the tour and hang out at the library of congress. My wife and I are both book nerds so we were able to get library cards and enter the library floor itself. Great experience.

Great way to see DC without excessive walking. You can get off and on the bus based on you interest. It was the perfect decision for those who were not able to walk long distances. The price was fair as well. The children in our party were thrilled by the top open part of the bus.

I took a tour of DC today and it was great! Our tour guide was Brittany. Our driver was Joe. Both were very upbeat and pleasant. Brittany was very knowledgeable and gave background on each site we visited. Joe also helped me pick the best seat since I was the first arrival. I will recommend this to all my family and friends!

The best way to start our visit to Washington DC! Our tour guide, Sebastian, was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. We had the leeway at each stop to take our time and explore. Would highly recommend!

Perfect for me. I was in town on business and had very little time to explore. This tour got me to all of the sites quickly. I wish I could have spent more time at the monuments but it’s hard to fit in so many. For people like me who are in town for only a couple days, this is perfect.

Our hop on hop off trolley tour 3/2024 was great. Sarge and others did a great job narrating all the interesting sites. I rated it a 4 because of pouring rain and cold. I suggest in bad weather to NOT get off the Trolley, because waiting 30 min for it to come back is too long!

Did a Segway Tour with this group today. I had done a Segway Tour in DC about 14 years ago with another group, but could not find them listed and chose Capital for myself and my girlfriend to tour with.

They request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time in order to do a safety orientation and learn how to use a Segway. We actually arrived about 40 minutes prior and were the first to arrive for our scheduled tour time. We were greeted by very friendly staff who immediately set out to get us ready. The group for our time slot consisted of about 12 people.

Our guides were Chris and Teddy. One guide led the group while the other brought up the rear to make sure that the group stayed together and got through all crossings safely. Each of us had a radio earpiece where we could hear the tour leader as he spoke to us and conducted the tour. At about the halfway point, we took a short break and the guides traded places. So Chris led the first half and Teddy led the second half. Both guides were phenomenally knowledgeable and had a deep understanding of the history of the sites along our route. I am a bit of a history buff, and know quite a bit, especially history surrounding our Nation's Capital. I did not hear a single historical inaccuracy from either of the guides, and also learned a whole lot that I did not know prior to this tour. Both guides were not only highly knowledgeable, but quite engaging and entertaining as well. These guys have that special talent of brining history to life and making it fun. They also took time to take pictures for those in the group who wanted pictures of themselves in front of various sites with the individuals cell phones. That was a nice personal touch.

The tour itself was two hours in duration, and we covered a lot of ground and saw many things along the way. I feel like this tour is a tremendous value. Great staff, great guides, and a great attention to everyone's safety without being overbearing. I highly recommend Capital Segway Tours to anyone who would like a nice guided tour and see a lot of sites in a reasonable time frame. My girlfriend is still going on and on about how much fun it was and how great all of the staff were.

As for ease of riding, it is super easy. It had been 14 years since I had last ridden one, and it came back in no time. Most of the rest of the group had never ridden one and were experts in no time flat. Plus all of the staff kept a close eye on everyone during the orientation of learning how to ride, and expertly helped each rider as needed.

Excellent tour, the only way to tour the monuments. Our driver was excellent, and the Escalade we were in was large, roomy, and spotless. Our driver catered to us completely. We were able to skip those monuments we weren't interested in and go to others we wanted to see. He knew where to park and took pictures for us. I can't imagine going with a group of strangers and having to wait on them; especiallywith all the crowds and buses. Our driver picked us up and dropped us off at the door to our hotel. It's completely worth the trip!

Christopher was an amazing tour guide and was a wealth of knowledge on the history of DC. The additional details he shared about the stories and symbolism around the monuments we visited were fascinating. If you want a truly in depth tour of the city you must do this night-time option. I would highly recommend this service!

Had a fantastic day with Tyrone and Chris touring DC. Tyrone was informative, engaging, and entertaining -- exactly the "right stuff" for a tour guide. Chris expertly navigated the traffic to keep the schedule and ensure maximum time at each stop. It was an aggravation-free day with lots of sights seen!
