This was one of the most moving and memorable museums we have ever visited in our 10 years of traveling and we felt it treated this tragedy tastefully, thoughtfully, and thoroughly.
One of the best historical museums.

The Phillips Famiiy villa is a lovely setting for its European art collection, special exhibits from various museums, educational programs, fine dining room, trendy museum store and magnificent gardens.
The vision first made possible by Waite and Genevieve Phillips is now one of America's finest art museums.
I have been to very sizable museums before that have a history of aviation section (such as the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit), but this was the best single collection I have seen.
Whether you visit this Museum for 2 hours or 2 days - you will be glad you stopped! it has everything from a Wright brothers replica plane, to a Saturn Rocket, Lunar Module, Moon rock, dozens of airplanes and jets...
Whether you're wanting to go for a hike and look at the wildlife or walk through the museums it very relaxing.
I seldom enjoy museums, but I loved the museum on site here.
This is probably one of the best museums I have ever visited, the variety of exhibits from paintings and sculptures to a full western town keeps you interested for the whole visit, an excellent display, I would re...
We love museums, probably more than most, and we've been to lots of museums all over the world, but this one was one of the best we've ever seen.

Museum of Osteology Oklahoma City
They have a very diverse collection of specimens (more so than in some natural history museums!).
Wow! Our 5-year old granddaughter enjoys museums and skeletons, so this was a win-win.
For example, the Remington bronzes sit on individual pedestals, with great lighting, and can be viewed from all angles, unlike in other museums.
My husband and I love visiting museums, and we loved every nook and cranny of this one.
One of the best cultural museums around
The Chickasaw Cultural Center is a history museum, art museum, cultural heritage center, nature center, fun and games park, library of native American literary works, and genealogical research center plus more.
One of the best Military museums I've been to and it's conveniently located close to the zoo and other attractions.
Older family members who love museums also had a great time.
Science Museum Oklahoma Oklahoma City
If you like museums, fossils, IMAX movies, games, fun, and above all else - learning, go to the OKC Science Museum.
We've visited a lot of science museums, but Science Museum Oklahoma stands out as one of the most fun and informative.
I have been to the Field Museum in Chicago, many Smithsonian institutions in DC, and other top museums across the country and San Noble truly holds its own.
Being attached to a public institution, this is argueably one of the best natural history museums.
One of our favorite museums we visited!
Lots of interesting things in the museum, including paintings, Rogers' collections, his buried family, silent films, ropes, etc. Very worthwhile!
Many, many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, ball park, hotel and museums within walking distance.
This really is a hidden gem, though it looks small from the outside it is well worth a visit, it is a fantastic interactive museum depicting the life of Woody Guthrie.
USS Batfish Muskogee
These types of museums really make history come to life.
Muskogee War Memorial Park also has a large piece of the USS Oklahoma, a museum, torpedos, cannons, and mines on display outside as well as memorials for the 52 lost subs and for the armed forces.
A self-guided all access pass to four museums.
It includes the Cherokee National Museum, displays of Cherokee art, a recreation of a pre-contact Cherokee village that you can tour, and special events every so often.
We've been to museums around the US and various European countries, and this little museum rivals them all.
We've seen many historical 66 museums in 5 states and this one surpasses them all!
American Banjo Museum Oklahoma City
Would recommend if you like small, quirky unique museums.
This museum is a comprehensive history of the banjo's evolution from it's African origins, appropriation and popularization within white culture, its association with folk music and its history in the twentieth ce...
The OKC Museum of Art compares favorably with art museums in much larger cities.
This museum is one of the smallest city museums I have ever visited, but everything here is wonderful quality.
Oklahoma History Center Oklahoma City
My wife & I visit State Capitols & history museums throughout the country.
It's one of our favorite museums ever visited.
Fred Jones Jr. museum is by far one of my favorite museums and I'm happy to have it in my home town!
This collection was better than the Oklahoma City Art Museum and art museums in several other cities we have visited.

Exceeded Our Expectations: Several Museums in One
Beautiful setting and fabulously interesting museums of times past.
This is one of the best outdoor museums I've ever been to in the country.
If you are able to get a pass on base or already have one and haven't seen the Museums the Fort Sill has, they are very much worth your time if you are a history buff.
This museum is awe inspiring, educational, and humbling.
Frank Phillips Home Bartlesville
We totally enjoyed the experience, along with the mini-museum that is available to walk through as you wait for your tour to begin.
If you plan to see the Frank Phillips Museum, Home and Woolaroc, I suggest you see the home first.
I visited this museum with my father, just to see what it was about (I LOVE museums) and I was pleasantly surprised to see such a huge collection of historical firearms!
, this Museum contains the world's largest gun collection of one individual as well as collections of German beer steins musical instruments history of Claremore and so much more that my husband and I spent the en...
For a small community, this museum surpasses many large city museums.
Extensive collection of artifacts and western art are presented like a first-class museum in large city even though it is in a small city.
A small, well curated museum presenting social and historical facts as well as preserved cultural artifacts relating to the Comanche people and their history.
Only the front part was open during our visit but the curate was a Native American descendant from the Comanche tribe and was a wealth of information on the tribes and their way of life.... this museum is free so...
The museum has items that are quite unique as well as the traditional items we see in Jewish museums.
Tulsa is a town of world class museums, such as Philbrook and Gilcrease, but one would hardly expect to discover a Jewish museum in a city of less than 2000 Jews.
Having visited hundreds of art museums througout America, I must say, this is one of those pleasant little surprises that I occasionally run into during my travels!
the museums and shop in the area are all very interesting and most are free!
