- Tracy V35 contributionsWhat a fun time! Our teenage sons loved it - which with teenagers, you never know.... The ride was faster than expected, which was a good thing, and the views and history were great. Definitely would recommend!Written November 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kaeshi CNew York City, NY33 contributionsWe absolutely loved our visit to the Henry Ford Museum. It’s a gigantic space so make sure you wear comfortable shoes because you will be on your feet for several hours. I appreciate the rich diversity of content and inspiring stories. We also saw the actual car that President Kennedy was assassinated in.Written January 1, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jesse B2 contributionsReally cool. Wish there was a grand finale but was still a neat date idea. The campfires around were really cool. The beer lights were cool too.Written December 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jerri LJohnston, IA4,797 contributionsWe visited in mid-late October and were pleasantly surprised by seasonably warm temperatures (70’s) which allowed for great hiking and exploring with small crowds and few other people out on the beaches, overlooks and at the waterfalls. The most awesome waterfalls, most amazing beaches, breathtaking hikes and natural experiences. The sandstone formations along the Lake Superior shoreline were unbelievable. Amazing experience.Written October 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- John S8 contributionsWhat fun! Friends and relatives had recommended the Barry Gordy House & Museum, and were we glad we made the time to visit while passing through Detroit on our way north. Advance ticketing is a must, because the experience is a 1-hour guided tour limited to about 15 guests at a time. Rich with history and culture, it was a nice break from an otherwise long day on the road.Written January 16, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Impala guyNewaygo, MI867 contributionsWent to the Holiday Nights again this year. Our fifth year.
Well thought out program. Lots to see and do in a relatively short time. Weather was cold but pretty good overall considering it was December. We have also been there during snowy nights and that can be a bit of challenge.
Parking is tight and since it is dark out makes it more of a challenge. Get there early, dress warmly and off you go.
Before you know it you are tired from walking, cold and happy but you have seen some wonderful sites, heard festive music and taken some amazing rides.Written December 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a great way to spend the day. The staff and volunteers were lovely.Written December 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - iblameromeoAnn Arbor, MI59 contributionsSleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan is truly spectacular! The views from the top are amazing, and I can only imagine how breathtaking they are down at the water’s edge. I didn’t attempt the descent myself, though—the steep slope is no joke! I’d rather not risk a $3,000 rescue fee if I got stuck. Entry is only $25 per vehicle, which is typical for U.S. national parks. I highly recommend visiting; there are several scenic stops along the way to the main dunes that are absolutely worth exploring. Overall, an unforgettable spot to experience Michigan’s natural beauty!Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eisme77Janesville, WI2,195 contributionsThis is definitely a high-volume tourist state park. Having a state park sticker on your vehicle expedites your entry. The path to the falls is paved and quite accessible. However, if you want to go down river to the bottom, there are a LOT of stairs. The falls are a beautiful reward for putting up with the crowds. The park facilities even feel a little more amusement-parky with large buildings, restaurant, and brewery on-site. While this is absolutely a must stop if you are in the area, be ready for the peeps unless you are lucky enough to be traveling off-peak.Written January 6, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Linda BRadcliff, KY102 contributionsThis is a beautiful sight to see. Wear comfortable shoes it is 207 steps to get to the Arch and do take pictures. If you rent a bike you can park at the bottom of the steps.Written September 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - longlakeloonTraverse City, MI6 contributionsGreat tour. Great history. Amazing architecture. It is a reminder that we need better treatment for folks struggling with mental health conditions. - Christine SBaltimore, MD144 contributionsReally unique. You can see all the way to the bottom and can even see the actual spring working at the bottom. Also lots of fish swimming. It’s like being in an aquarium it’s so clear. Very pretty and not too far off the path whether in Munising or coming up from mackinaw.Written October 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
