- Francis PCarlsbad, CA31 contributionsWonderful place to visit, and free if your first time, great painting and gardens, staffing all around to help you with your visitWritten 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- boo59LeicesterLeicester, UK361 contributionsA nice trip. Tons of history. We had the audio whic is a must if you want to learn about everything. The guy at the begining welcoming us was really nice as were all the staff. There is a short walk up a small hill to the prison. Take your time if you have difficulty in walking. A nice shop at the end to get your goodies.Written 6 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GWBGolden, CO12 contributionsAMAZING! One of the best ever! We all(including the kids) had a blast! So interactive… you can not only explore the aircraft carrier there are numerous planes on the deck that you can get in. Truly a great experience for everyone! They say you need to a lot 4 hours… very true!Written 2 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sctraveler15Santee, SC117 contributionsWords cannot describe the PCH! We had high expectations based on what we had read, but it is so much more! You really need to experience this diverse and magnificent drive. With nearly every turn of the road, there is another overwhelming view of nature, including beautiful water, rugged cliffs, various mountains and rock formations, flowers, and wildlife. There are also other side-trip-worthy activities to capture your attention. Some of our favorites were the Mission San Luis Obispo, the Hearst Castle, Piedras Blancas Rockery where elephant seals breed, Carmel-by-the-sea, and the 17-mile drive at Pebble Brook. But the views were the real highlights!Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ashley L30 contributionsLoved going here with the family to celebrate their graduations. Avengers campus was great, loved WEB slingers and the Guardians ride. Not a fan of the Genie app, and Cars broke down at least a dozen times the day we were there.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- K YCalifornia37 contributionsThe temperature drop from triple digits to 65 degrees was a welcome factor, but the whole experience of traveling the Aerial Tramway was amazing. Up top, we relaxed at "The Peak" restaurant with a lovely lunch. After we walked the observation deck area for stunning views.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Megan H1 contributionThe floor staff (greeters, sales, porters, every one) were all so friendly and knowledgeable—especially the educators, who were so good at engaging the kids!! My sincere hope that they’re paid a living wage (at minimum!). If not, they absolutely should be.Written 6 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SharpinvSisters, OR7 contributionsCouldn't figure out why this would be the #1 attraction in SB, but once you are inside the Mural room you get it. Absoutely stunning grounds, halls and rooms in a working courthouse, we appeared to be the only ones touring so had the place to ourselves. It's free and you can hit the highlights in 30 minutes or stay 90 like we did and is by far the most gorgeous courthouse I've ever seen.Written 27 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- pennysh2014Shelby Township, MI45 contributionsThere were so many roses, and so many different varieties, the smell was over whelming. Everything was in bloom and it was breathtaking.Written 29 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NoSleepFromBrooklynNew York City, NY860 contributionsWe loved our experience. We went with relatives who live in the area and we took a water taxi to the Aquarium.
the Aquarium is great, it has nice habitats and interesting exhibits, it has more than just marine life. They have art fairs, interactive experiences and many different area to explore making the experience extra fun with kids.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Martin HHong Kong, China560 contributionsThis was a lucky find as I had not booked any vineyard tours until two days before I was due to come to Napa and I was on the waitlist for this property. I booked it based on other TripAdvisor comments and was glad I did.
We came for the wine pairing lunch and what a fabulous experience it was right from the start. The property, its grounds and the art collection are excellent and with how few people they're letting on the property at the moment, it was basically a personal tour. Our hostess, Ivy, was delightful and very accommodating.
The chef prepared a lovely meal which was light and paired with the wines well.
Whilst I had not come across the wines before, I was pleasantly surprised with how nice they were.
Some might consider this a little expensive, but I thought it was excellent value for money.Written 30 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Munir DToronto, Canada570 contributionsThis beach is popular in Los Angeles as it is in a nice locality and has clean and sandy beaches. The beach also houses the famous amusement pier and a beachfront boardwalk. There are a number of good restaurants that serve a variety of food on the waterfront.
We saw the sunset here on the first day of our arrival in Los Angeles. This would have been a perfect place to watch the sunset had the dipping of the sun not been over Malibu in the west. Nevertheless the sunset us fabulous.
Santa Monica offers the best overall beach experience in Los Angeles. It's also one of the best beach areas in Southern California. The addition of bike paths and plenty of outdoor exercise areas has made the beach very popular. The beach also has a lot of play areas.
A visit to Los Angeles is not complete without a visit to this beach. We stayed at the nearby Hilton which is a walking distance away from the beach.

I like the place as one can really "smell" the sea and the vibrance of all the activities connected to it.
Lots of lazy seals and sea lions sunbathing and we were lucky to see a bunch of baby flippers staying very close to their mums for food and protection.
Other than that, plenty of squirrels/ rabbits and dogs occupy the area, and they together exhibit a harmonic eco-system co-existing with mankind.
It is really great for someone like us who has little choice but to spend too much time in the middle of a desert.Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mark Clay MBakersfield, CA28 contributionsThis place is pretty cool. Among other static displays, it houses the only SP Cab Forward 4-8-8-2 steam locomotive in existence and, although not operating, is absolutely stunning! The place is a great walk through the history of the Central and Southern Pacific Railroads and the early history of those roads in the area, There are also examples of stock form other roads and it is all in pristine condition. Many can be walked through or right next to. The train ride is boring, but still a must if you're already there. There is also a very well stocked gift shop and a kid's area upstairs with the model trains. I recommend it to travelers and locals who've not been!Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
