- DarwinCakePerth, Australia251 contributionsA visit to Fremantle isn't complete without strolling through the Free Markets. I was actually looking for something specific for a girlfriend overseas and when it comes to gifts for overseas friends this is one of the best places to look.Written 20 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Must visit every weekend 👍Written 8 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia6,663 contributionsNot a lot of activity here when we visited last Monday, seems to be looking more abandoned than when last here. Freo Waffles is still busy, Nattha's Thai Massage required a forward booking, my wife wasn't too enthusiastic after browsing the ladies clothing outlet and there was some activity on the top floor. A number of outlets are available for lease, not sure if others are permanently closed or just closed on the day.Written 10 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Skeney57Sydney, Australia21,349 contributionsWe spent more time conversing with the Island volunteer then looking at the small exhibition on display. He was a fount of information & loved his job. As an original building it's still worth a quick look and the displays change on a regular basis.Written 13 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Kim SGreater Melbourne, Australia69 contributionsGreg does outstanding work and it is a real pleasure to wander around his studio and view his amazing works. We were lucky enough to have a chat with him from the stairs as he worked in his workshop. - PalmviewFort Myers Beach, FL322 contributionsThis establishment was truly a surprise. My daughter and I stopped in to look for some antique furniture. Besides the beautiful display of high end antiques we found the Ottoman Empire in the back of the store. The owners Mark and Les have brought together unique items from Turkey which include artwork, jewelry, handloomed Ottoman towels, linens, scarves, rugs, urns, decorative objects and bags, and an sundry of other interesting items. The store is just packed "gems" . I'm looking forward to returning to purchase more items. Unfortunately, I was close to my baggage weight (for traveling) when we found this shop.
I would also like to encourage you to spend some time viewing the antiques in the store. They are high quality (average $5,000 - $6000) and include Victorian art, colonial furniture, porcelain and ceramics, Oriental Ivory, period chandelier and lamps and mjuch more. Les and Mark take great pride in the pieces they present which is a testament to their good taste.Written 11 March 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Douglas W1 contributionThis gallery is in the home of the owners and was very warm and welcoming. There was a wonderful selection of painting works to choose from and we spent quite a long time looking around at the exhibits. Anna and Arthur were very professional, friendly and helpful and provided excellent assistance answering all our questions. Having lived extensively in remote Australia we were reasonably well versed in the indigenous culture and their original works are excellent. A unique place well worth the visit. Thank you.Written 21 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- raCanadaFremantle, Australia76 contributionsI've been visiting this shop for nearly 20 years, often in search of a particular map or travel guide, and I always leave with at the the success of having had a good time. The shop stocks maps, nautical charts, travel guides and books on travel, vintage travel posters and loads of other things vaguely related to travel, the outdoors and boating.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and even if they don't have the map or book you're looking for, they can confirm whether it exists or not, and get it for you.Written 19 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - MegGold Coast, Australia22 contributionsaffordable and excellent quality imaginative artistic jewellery and art and homewares - no commission so helping artists even moreWritten 2 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
