... and the late Gothic wing altar of the Visiting Virgin Mary captivate those who wander inside. Thanks to the fantastic view of the centre, climbing the 60-metre high northern tower is well worth the effort.
The exterior is certainly breath-taking and a visit to the top of the tower of the cathedral (160-odd steps) affords beautiful 360 degree panoramic views across the city.
You can also vsit the Cathedral of St. Elisabeth, East-Slovak Gallery and Museum, or climb up some 160 stairs of the Cathedral´s north tower to get a bird eye´s view of the city.
We all enjoyed the walk in the picturesque streets of the old town, where you can see the most important sights of the city and drink a cheap and tasteful beer in one of the bars you pass by.
From there you will definitely enjoy the beauty of 360 degree view of the city.
Beautiful monumental catholic church, still in use, with a nice view from the tower.
Lubovna Castle Stara Lubovna
Amazing castle with spectacular views beautifully renovated and You can walk around and see the life in the castle over the years.
As you can assume, the sights from it are magnificent - if the weather is nice, you should spot the Tatra mountains with ease.
Large (really large) ruins with some museum-like exhibits, an outstanding detailed walking tour available in English and other languages, and outstanding views.
Its a very big castle that looks amazing from the outside, has great view on the village, hills and forest from the inside, and is interesting and impressive to tour inside.
Bratislava Old Town Bratislava
Every area presented a unique experience from narrow winding cobbled streets to individual attractions like rubberneck to ornate churches, museums and panoramic views over the river Danube
They offer town tours too and the streets are lovely to walk around, there are varied sights such as monuments and statues you come across without the need to search, a must do whilst visiting Bratislava.

Originally built in the Gothic style, Nitra Castle is impressive in its somber beauty and the apartments and artifacts are worth the climb up Zobor hill, if only for the great views of the town and its surrounds.

Amazing views from the tower, especially at night, with the added bonus of a small military museum and a very busy and funny street to go to.
