We booked a two hour session to make a mug on the pottery wheel. The owner of the shop helps you along the way with each step, and clearly instructs you how to use the pottery wheel, how to create a bottom for your mug and handle, how to decorate your mug, and how to smooth rough edges to fully prep it for the kiln.
The shop provides you: an apron, clay tools for cutting and sculpting, and tools to decorate your creation (ex. embossed rolling pins, cookie cutters, ceramic glazes to colour your creation, etc.).
