My wife and I arrived on a lovely sunny morning and after a stroll around to the castle we took a 30 minute boat tour. Not particularly informative but a lovely way to see the city from a different perspective. I believe that the hour long cruise is just the 30 minute cruise done twice.

Good value little cruise that lasts around an hour. Commentary in English is informative if a little staid. Would have been a 5 star but the boat was difficult to find. Nothing on the riverbank or boat to say it’s Aqua River Cruises. Only found it when the crew member turned up some 20 minutes before we were due to set off.

We saw the boat trips when looking over Wawel Castle walls.. Walk down the steps and you are greeted by the 'sellers'... No hard sale and for a lovely 30 minute trip along the Wisla River was 25 zloty.. About £5. Small boat of maximum 12 passengers, no commentary, but sometimes it is nice to just enjoy the view. Would definitely recommend. A short walk from the boat is the fire breathing dragon statue.

Our third visit to Krakow and still so much to see and do.

The bar's in the old Jewish quarter are so quaint and full of character.
Definitely the area to stay in.

The main square is about a 20min walk but well worth it. Bars and restaurants are more modern and more expensive. But still alot cheaper than the UK.

If you visit the Krakow the Salt Mines, Auschwitz, Schindlers Factory and the city tour in the golf buggies are all well worth the price.

Lots of very good restaurants and bar's. We've not been to the castle yet though.

We stayed at the Spatz hotel in the centre of the Kasmierez area (Jewish qtr). Lovely hotel offering reasonable B&B. They also have a very nice restaurant. Although friends of ours used Airbandb for a cracking apartment and again very cheap.
